Veteran's Park

Attended a Halloween event during a Saturday night and found the park clean and very well organized by local Police. The atmosphere was fun, the food trucks were busy handing out great food and most of all the kids and adults all seemed to be in good spirits.

I really like this park because it's well-maintained, and my son loves it too. However, I've noticed that some people bring their dogs into the park, even into the playground area or onto the tables where people eat. The sign at the main entrance clearly states that pets are not allowed in the park, so I urge the park management to enforce this policy more strictly. It's important to keep animals out of the park to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.

Has restrooms available, plenty of FREE PARKING.

Close by you have a bunch of food options , and a CVS. Super clean, and taken care of. All holidays have a great turn out of families.

Really nice park to bring the family, plenty of green space for the kids to run and ride their bicycles. Bathroom were in good shape and clean. Lots of shaded area and picnic tables.

Wonderful park! It is a nice place to walk in especially at night it's very convenient as there are lights all around the path. It's quite small but still nice to walk or run some loops around. It also has a clean, large playground for children and public exercise equipment around the park. Also, they have fireworks here 4th of July each year. Lovely sight 😍

Friends and family of the late Dorothy Cook should check out the Live Oak tree planted along with a plaque dedicated in her honor on Arbor Day, April 28th, 2023.

This little park is beautiful! It is by a nice lake and surrounded by a cute neighborhood. It is always clean and has a lot of activities you can partake of, like the Parcourse Stations, which are spread all around the park, with exercise machines. Also if you are a little more hardcore, by the basketball court (it's a half a court actually) there is another exercise area with machines and very specific exercise routines (see photos).

There are 2 large party kiosks, the kiosks have 2-3 grills each. and lots of picnic areas under large trees with lots of shade, that have picnic tables. There is a large covered playground for the kids and an uncovered area with swings. Very popular in the evenings.

The restrooms are super clean, and can you believe it.... They actually smell good!! Go City of Miami Lakes ;)

I love walking around this park, people are very friendly and courteous, the park is maintained very well, no pets allowed inside of the park but there is a sidewalk around the perimeter and it even has doggie poop bags and trash cans, so you can bring Fido with you.

If you haven't been here, come check it out soon, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a nice afternoon with the family.

Lovely atmosphere with a nice local farmers market every Saturday afternoon. Playcrounds and picnic area for families to celebrate and comemorate special occasions, a large track to walk and run, plenty of outdoor work outequiptment and public transportation that leads to a place that holds monthly events for the community.

Beautiful park. You can take tour blanket and do a picnic. The trees and the environment is very fresh. It’s perfect to get new fresh air and rest for a while enjoying the nature and the people playing around

This park located at the heart of Miami Lakes is great, vivid, full of peace! I really enjoy my walks here. It has an area for kids, some basic workout equipments, across the street there is a wonderful fountain and a lake. Sunset is really beautiful.

My go to park for kids. It is medium in size but a lot of things to do. I love it. Excellent overall

Very clean park with a great playground for toddlers. Plenty of open space as well.

It's a very nice park with nice playground for kids. They also have shelters for parties. They have restrooms although the men's restroom doesn't always smell very nice. It is a convenient location with a lot of parking.

Great Park! Great Location! Held a baby shower here at "Pavilion A" and I cannot complain. There is a playground and swing set for kids of all ages and a basketball court. You might catch a vendor or two selling ice cream and food as well. I do not regret coming to this location not one despite the summer heat!

Beautiful family friendly park! It has a walking path with workout stations throughout the path. Swings area has generation swings as well as adaptive swings. Playground includes slides and monkey bars. This park is clean, well maintained and has fun events through the year.

Great place for family with free parking lot: b'day party and alike with reservation, perfect for outdoor physical exercise like walking for young & adults and some mechanical apps, including a good playground for children. Very clean and organize. Ready for sun and heat, because shadow is only in small Pavillion with four tables close to kids playground or under the big trees.

This park is close to my house and I've spent time here more than any other park. It's good that it stays open late, good for night walks.
