Jackson West Medical Center

We took my brother here on Wednesday after he had a fall. So impressed with this hospital and staff. From the moment we checked in and until we left hrs later, we had nothing but kind and caring people. Our nurse’s name was Genesis. She did everything for my brother to make him feel comfortable and safe. Others that helped us were Adam and Jesse Lopez. There were so many I did not get all of their names. We are so appreciative of all the help. Keep up the great work.

The staff here exhibits the utmost care and respect for their patients. I took my father in law here and we were so amazed that everyone from the ED was extremely professional and worked with care and speed. The food and cafeteria served delicious meals that we all enjoyed as a family and we will not go to any other hospital after such a positive experience. The staff here truly deserves to be recognized for how amazing they treat their patients in the medical areas and patrons in the cafeteria.

Ended up here while on vacation & I was pleasantly surprised by how much better my FL ER visit was in comparison to my experiences in NY. Maybe it was super slow when I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, but I was treated & released pretty quickly. Everyone was very friendly & nice too.

Had a great experience at Jackson West. My mother was admitted at the fifth floor. Her Care Team was wonderful. Her nurses were Gisel and Elisabeth. Diamond was always making sure that my mother was as comfortable at all times and was very consistent with her rounds for vitals. They were amazing and on top of their work. Dr. Rafael Abreu was very professional, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manners. Case Manager Elizabeth also was very concerned that my mother had her needs met once she discharged home. Yoslaine and Angela from Nutrition were very kind and courteous. The facility is very modern and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Parking is accessible. Had an excellent experience. These staff members deserve a special recognition for their amazing work, dedication, and empathy.

After a year of giving birth I am glad of how beautiful the process was. My birth was an AMAZING experience thanks to two of the nurses their names are Lana and Lisa. I am grateful for your kindness and compassion during my process of giving birth and becoming a mother for the first time those first hours. Your dedication is admirable! God bless you guys!

This is my first time staying at Jackson West Medical Center and second time I'm interned at a hospital in my 22 years and I have to say I'm very satisfied and no words can describe enough how grateful I am with the experience the nurses, nurse assistants, and doctors have provided for me in my 7 days stay in the hospital. This hospital was able to find solutions to my problems which the first hospital I went to failed to do so. My whole stay at the hospital was very pleasing, it even felt like I had stayed at a 5 star resort! The nurses were always there for me whenever I needed help during the day and night. Thank you to the morning shift nurses/nurse assistants Debby, Maythee, Laura, Maggy, and Jose and thank you to the night shift nurses/nurse assistants Ivia, Luz, and Adela! Thank you to Marco from the respiratory department for the many advices on how to continue taking care of my lungs at home! I'm very grateful with the 4th floor team for all their amazing work and for always making me feel comfortable and at peace. I hope my experience encourages many other people to come to Jackson West Medical Center for any emergencies since they have been able to help me have a quick recovery in the hospital with the correct antibiotics and now i'm able to leave back home and being able to fully breathe better! I totally recommend this hospital!

This hospital is amazing, from the professional staff to the hospital itself. I was brought in through the ER and from the go everything was smooth and friendly. Even though it is a frightening experience to end up in the ER the staff and administration made it as pleasant as possible. This a truly high standards hospital and I rated a 10 star plus.

Excellent attentions and professional workers . This day we commented on how elegant and well-functioning the hospital , when a Latino patient told us that the problem is that the hospital has many Latinos. We were forced to answer that we know many hospitals in both counties where the Latino staff has treated us with great respect and professionalism. Lourdes has been amazing throughout this process. Best doctor Eddie Gomez for bariatric surgery I would definitely recommend. They even have free classes you can attend via zoom every month with Lourdes. Hospital stay was great but nurses are not fully trained for bariatric after care and need a little more knowledge. If I can rate my overall experience a 10 stars I would!!

My aunt was hospitalized and René Cepero Guzmán (PCA1) and Débora Faria were very profesional, answering every question and taking care of my aunt’s needs. They made this hard time less difficult for me and my family. My family and I are also thankful of the hospital staff, everyone is very caring and willing to help.

My father was hospitalized for 9 days due to pneumonia. He suffers from Alzheimer's and is fall risk, due to this he was assigned aides 24 hours a day. The nursing staff and aides were extremely loving and caring. I would like to especially thank the aides from the 4th floor which were exceptional. Maria, Angela, Rene, Jorge and Yadira, thank you so much for the love, care and attention you gave my father during his stay at the hospital, my brother and I are forever thankful.

I had the privilege of receiving care at Jackson West Hospital, and I can't praise them enough. The medical team especially on 4 floor was not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate. The facility was spotless and modern, creating a comfortable environment. The promptness of service, from admission to discharge, was impressive. Jackson West Hospital exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in need of excellent healthcare.

Awesome! I had both my parents there and the staff was very nice and helpful. I think some coordination between insurance and case managers. Again very helpful with both patients with different reasons for being there at the same time.

I came to the hospital to get my gallbladder removed due 2 stones I had… everyone was wonderful EXCEPT for nurse Migoyo Rosado… I came back from surgery to my room at around 11am and he didn’t come check on me NOT even 1 time. At around 3:30pm I pressed the button to call him and ask him for ice and it is 4:25pm and he hasn’t brought it to me. He gave my husband a little attitude over the phone when my husband called in the morning to ask about me and the surgery. HORRIBLE NURSE! You can tell he doesn’t like his job, but everyone else have been AWESOME!!!! Please speak to Nurse Rosado… either he changes his way of being or change profession.

My experience at Jackson West was amazing. The service and professionalism from the staff was excellent. I want to thank Dr Krikorian and his team for making me feel special during my knee surgery, I will always appreciate it. The nurses are very caring, as are the therapists. I want to highlight the attention that the food service team had with me, (Alba, Angela, Katia, Lissette, Marta, I don't remember all of their names), always trying to please me and worried about me (I am difficult with food). They all do amazing work. I appreciate everyone for their attention.
