Great school to get your dispatchers license. They are very flexible and can accommodate to your schedule. Only a few students per class which is great if you really want to learn instead of just memorizing questions and answers. Highly recommend this school and they even help you get a job after you are done!

I was completely new to the field, I had never set a foot on a ramp before and this school made me fell in love with aviation. Professor Luis is the best. He has all the resources available to make anyone become an aircraft dispatcher. Thanks to Technical Aviation Services I'm now a professional. I'm so glad I took this path.

I am writing this review as a recent graduate of TAS academy.
I specifically wanted to graduate first and then to give my honest opinion on the whole course.
First things first – I had zero experience in aviation. Career change wasn’t an easy decision for me, and I definitely took a loooong time to do my research and pick school wisely.
I talked to different graduates, read pretty much all forums, and called several schools.
Why did I choose TAS? I met with Luis (President and instructor at the school) and talked to his graduates.
First and most important - all graduates were employed after graduating, that is a good sign right there.
Second - Luis himself is a chief dispatcher at Cargo airline located in Miami – 10+ years of experience, so his classes are based on real life, not just theory.
Something EXREMELY important to me is Luisi’s personality. He is not just a great teacher he is also a great person. First thing he told me on the first class – we all are a family, and we will support each other even after graduation. Let me tell you – he didn’t lie. Ask any of his graduate (we have a little what’up group) he is always there for you even with his busy lifestyle, that means a lot to me.
As I mentioned before I am completely green in aviation and was a little concern if I would be able to keep up with other students (there were pilots, mechanics and ATC people getting their license as well).
But beauty of TAS – everyone working at their own pace, no rush, you take your time as much as you need.
I was able to receive my license in 4 months in total. Some people able to do it as quickly as 3 weeks (when you have experience, of course). Some work multiple jobs and it takes them 2 years.
For me personally – I knew there is no way I can finish course in 5 weeks and also I didn’t want just to barely pass exams, but actually learn stuff.
Teachers are there for you so you can succeed, not to fail you.
Don’t get me wrong - I totally worked my butt off, but it was less stressful to know that someone got my back and will help on every step of my way.
Lastly but also important – price.
You can’t beat it. Cheapest price in the whole country for in-person education (no offense, but I personally not a big fan of online education especially for someone like me with zero experience).
I wrote this quite lengthy review because I know how tough it is to pick the school. I spent several months debating and second guessing myself.
I am most certainly happy with my choice and with what I was able to accomplish.
I hope it will help other people.
