Lisbon Park

Chill little hidden park. And sometimes if you go mid morning you'll encounter a few baby caretakers. They congregate by the benches and don't spook easily. If you know the lingo you can communicate with them. You'll also find a soothing water fountain by the north east side of the park.

Love this little park!! It's very whimsical, lots of shading and has pretty butterflies flying around. It’s Perfect for a nice picnic!!

However, there are no restrooms and parking is very limited. I've also seen quite a bit of dog poo around the park .... but irresponsible dog owners are to blame for that!

This is the cutest Mini park that I have seen so far. This is in the city of Coral Gables of course because it is more affluent and people know how to demand that their politicians provide for their needs. The city of Miami should learn and make more many parks like this one and they don't even have to put the water fountain .

Very cute, peaceful, and small park in the midst of Coral Gables. Perfect for taking a break to rest or simply enjoy the nature.

Este mini parque es un oasis para hacer un descanso si estás ejercitándote, ya sea caminando o corriendo. Es un área pequeña pero tiene muchísima sombra. Tiene una caminería con un material parecido al que he visto en otro parque en Coconut Grove, que es una especie de conglomerado de caucho y piedritas que hace que sea muy suave el paso. Es redondo y en el medio hay un espacio con pasto ideal para que los más chiquitos jueguen con la pelota. Tiene bancos de metal en muy buenas condiciones, se ven que están nuevos. Hay una escultura en forma de bicicleta antigua que realmente no sé si tenga una función adicional a la estética. Tiene un bebedero, con opciones para adultos, niños o personas con discapacidad y para mascotas. El agua está fría y sale de inmediato una vez que acciones el botón, justamente porque está a la sombra, perfecta para hidratarse con el calor que hace en Miami. No hay donde estacionar, puesto que es un parque para los de la zona o para los que decidan pasar por ahí mientras entrenan. Tiene un dispensador de bolsitas para recoger las necesidades de sus mascotas. Es muy bonito y da mucha paz
