Big Shanty Park

This park is very well taken care of. Nice toys for smaller kids and beautiful trails for your nature fix. There are soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and grassy play areas. Well-maintained, beautiful little park.

Fields are nice. We are there for soccer. Decent size playground in good shape. Haven’t gone on the trail yet.

But what it is great is that it is for free for the comunity.

I frequently visit Big Shanty Park as my son does football training here. The park is family friendly, clean, safe, and very spacious. It is very common to see families here enjoying a nice day or several sports teams having games. I highly recommend this park.

Favorit place for jogging in the morning, forest, humming birds, so perfect!

Well kept park and play ground...decent size soccer fields, have a Porta potty by the soccer field, but a full bathroom on the baseball side which is not too far from the soccer area..if you have younger kids, take them earlier so you don't have to run....about average cleanliness for the full bathroom, ( it's a park bathroom, not a hotel bathroom 😉) but overall it's a nice park. Gets crowded on game days, but plenty of space on regular days.

Great night lighting and space for kid's baseball and soccer games.

We play soccer on these fields every season for the last couple years and are happy with the park. Occasionally I wish they would fill in the dirt patches that happen after it's rained. Other then that, will keep coming back.

It's a cute little playground where my grandson had the best time. It's clean and quiet.

It's a nice tall playground! My daughter loved it! Fields too. Restrooms available.

Nice medium play ground area with soccer fields as well as benches pretty nice

Excellent picnic by the playground. We had a blast. Bathrooms worked and were an easy walk from the playground area. Plenty of parking. Will be back soon.

I hit the trails here with my mountain bike while my son plays football at KMHS as they are multi use and bikes are allowed. Give way to any hikers or especially runners as these trails are used by the cross country team. Some good climbs and flow. Short 2 mile loop if done correctly but various paths can be done to mix it up. This goes around and by the baseball, soccer, and lacross fields. The path crosses the road at one place so use extreme caution as cars may not see you.

The tennis courts are hard to reach... wish there would be more information about how to get to them, either by car or walking (after parking)

Nice quiet park and soccer fields my cousin used to play soccer here we would go to her games every weekend the field was always kept in great condition the car cuz always clean never had any issues with anybody ever please drive around to make sure everything is safe and keep everything in order it's a great family park hang around and enjoy the outdoors if you're in the area I highly recommend walking around is a playground free park does have a sign when you walk in and tells you about the parking when it closes information that you may need like I said it's a great family park close by if you're in the Kennesaw area I highly recommend you check in park out

I coach under 12 boys soccer here. Fields are in pretty good shape, some rough patches but overall a good park for soccer and baseball ⚾

Good concessions, only issues is no shade behind home plates for spectators. The bleachers are 1 set on each side and shaded but they start where the dugouts end.

Great playground. Was a nice gem to let our little one play on and was empty compared to another local park. We plan to head back again.

My kids play soccer here, it's a great park and they love it, especially the playground.
