APOLLO GREEK & LEBANESE CAFE

The restaurant is clean and smells like the delicious food they have cooking in the back. The staff is helpful, prompt, and friendly. I ordered the gyro wrap with the salad and hummus, and my brother got the chicken shawarma plate. We also ordered the Grecian dip with pita bread. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Im not usually a hummus fan but theirs is the best I’ve ever had. I definitely will be returning.

I went to Apollo's yesterday after work and I am so glad I did. I ordered the grape leaves with meat and the combo plate. It was delicious and there was so much food that I had it for lunch the next day. I really liked that you could buy ingredients there as well.

The food and staff were both great. They used to have a location in Pineville and it's the same family. The Gyro pasta dinner is something I enjoy that I haven't found at other Greek restaurants when I travel out of town.

Was driving thru and wanted to stop and get some food. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. The place sits next to a gas station and doesn't look like much from the outside. But inside was very welcoming. Ymtge young man that took my order was very friendly and helpful. I took it to go, and they got it out to me fairly fast. They food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place for sure. Fantastic!!

This is the real deal for Mediterranean food. The best around. Try anything on the menu. It is all incredible. The lamb chops are always a favorite.

Excellent experience!! We were driving through Alexandria and needed to get some lunch. Yelp reviews looked very promising, and they were absolutely correct. The chicken shawarma and salad plate was exceptional. Highly recommend. The chicken kabob was a wait, but definitely worth it. Would do it all again. The service was also very pleasant and professional.

Oh my goodness this place is AMAZING if you really love Greek cuisine..service and food is divine..atmosphere was perfect to me..although that's not really what matters to me but it may to some people..but plz don't judge this little restaurant by its location..or do..but you'll be the one missing out..js

Got the combo platter and an order of spinach pies.
We weren't expecting the spinach pies to be fried, but they were still delicious.
The combo platter was very good and you got to have a bit of everything. We shared it between two people, but it would be a great meal for just one person as well.

Visit #2, 2 months later: Hummus Deluxe (again!) with chicken kebab. Couldn't resist Hummus Deluxe again; even better this time around! Chicken kebab was tender and juicy without being greasy or overmarinated. Accompanying rice was perfectly cooked and very light but well-seasoned.This place is rapidly becoming a quick-ref in this house for takeout! Visit #1: Apollo Hummus Deluxe with flatbread, meat pies. Cannot speak to authenticity; my first time eating Greek/Lebanese food; but this was tasty! Meat pie crust is phillo dough, much like a French pie crust but lighter. Filling was savory. Hummus was absolutely delicious, especially with the accompying flatbread. Little pricy, but excellent quality. Will be going back.

The food is always on point! The baba ganoush is my personal favorite. Everything I have had there is very much authentic and very delicious. The meat pies, the hummus, gyro meat. I love Apollo!
