Working more from home, my wife and I decided to upgrade our desk chairs, but we wanted to keep within a reasonable budget and shopped for used. We got in touch with Brian, who walked us through their offerings, explained various mechanical features, and helped us pick out two exceptional chairs! Picked up a refurbished Herman Miller Aeron from Max and I love it! Less than half the price compared to a new chair with a 5 year warranty is awesome. I love it so much I am trying to talk my work into getting me one for the office too. Highly recommended!

I was very happy with my experience at Max's. Bruce really knew what he was talking about and I spent less than what I was budgeting. I have bought previously used golf clubs with no issues. Buying a previously used chair was no different. The chair is in excellent condition and they give you a 2 year warranty. Why pay full price for a high-end chair when you can get one in perfectly fine condition for less?

I've been to Max's 2 times, both for repairs and service on my out of warranty Aeron chairs. Max and his team are super pragmatic, honest, and I feel like they aren't trying to screw me over. I reached out to Max on a broken arm, and the chair is fixed and back in my home office in less than 24 hours. I've not bought a chair from him, but his prices seem really reasonable, and I know that Max stands behind his stuff. Highly recommended! (and his team like Josh was great too).

I sent in an inquiry late Friday evening fully expecting a response the following work week, but in LESS THAN 48 HOURS (by Sunday afternoon) I had a desperately-needed desk chair! Max is extremely knowledgeable about his products, and was sure to let me know all of my options as well as the company's 5-year warranty. He was so patient helping to arrange paperwork and delivery for which I am SO grateful. The refurbished chair itself looks and functions like brand new for a fraction of retail price; amazing quality and very difficult to find (Classic HM Aeron Size A). Thank you, Max!!!

I was searching for a Herman Miller Aeron size A, which is difficult to find. I exchanged a few texts/short calls with Max who was always friendly and prompt to reply. Once I got to the location, Bryan was the one to help me. He was extremely helpful: he showed me the few size A's they had in stock, and made a few great suggestions for other models to try. I never felt pressured, and appreciated his recommendations. Once I confirmed I wanted the Herman Miller model, Bryan took some additional time to explain the subtle differences in engineering. Great service, and I got a fancy office chair at a great price. Thank you!

Excellent and friendly service. Initially I bought a cheaper 5700 Star Chair, but after sitting on it for 2 hours. Knew I made a bad choice. Fast forward to today. Spoke to my very knowledgeable salesman Bryan. Promptly was advised to bring it back in to do an upgrade exchange. No restocking fees or questions asked.

Now I got a Herman Miller Aeron C chair. Like almost new. Feels so much better at my desk.

Highly recommend this warehouse. Also 5 stars to Bryan who knows his chairs and never pressured me once. He also put the chair in my car 2X.

I got some chairs for fitting our home offices just over a year ago, and I’m pleased to say that the goods were well worth the investment. They’re definitely a no-nonsense operation with a staff who is knowledgeable about their products. We got to sit in the chairs and figure out what would work best for our different needs. They actively didn’t up-sell us and were patient with us running to the bank for some cash. I don’t need more than two office chairs in my life, but if I ever need another, I’ll come here!

I'm working from home for the foreseeable future, and was looking to buy an office chair that is better for my back. Max's was responsive when I called, explained some options over the phone, and made a plan for me to visit the next day. When I arrived, I all the time I needed to try different chairs, and Bryan was very helpful explaining the different models, and tradeoffs to think about for making my choice. The chair that worked best for me was not what I expected coming in, but it was comfortable and far cheaper than buying new from the manufacturer.

I would recommend Max's to anyone searching for a new office chair. I'd go here before buying new or buying used online. The customer service was very good and the product inventory was great. Max spent an hour going over chairs with me, didn't try to sell me hard on anything, and I came home with an awesome chair for a competitive price, plus with a warranty. They know this business and treat customers right.

Max worked with me over email and phone to ensure they had what I wanted. I was looking for a very specific chair, but I am located in Virginia. Max assured they had what I wanted and answered all of my questions so I made the decision to travel to Maryland to make the purchase and I’m very glad I did! I bought the exact chair I wanted, in great condition, for about half the price of a brand new one. It even came with a ten year warranty! Highly recommend!

I purchased a refurbished office chair from Max's and am very happy with the result! Max clearly knows his chairs & provides a quality restoration - mine feels like new. Max was also very friendly and the team kindly helped me load the chair into my car complete with some cardboard cushioning.

Well worth the three hour drive to get the same chair for my home office I had in my work office. Max took the time to explain the difference in models of chairs, their functions and included casters for hardwood floors as well. Bought a different chair for my husband. Max has new and refurbished furniture. I highly recommend him. He also kept social distance protocols in place as well.

I highly recommend Max's to anyone looking for new office furniture. I bought a desk chair for myself today. It is an ergonomic chair from one of the major brands. I went there with my eye on a Herman Miller Aeron. They had me sit in a number of chairs though and I quickly figured out that the Aeron really wasn't the best for me. They weren't pushy and didn't try and sell me what they wanted me to buy, they wanted me to make a fully informed decision. It looks like they sell a lot of other office furniture and they have a pretty extensive catalog of new furniture as well. Oh yeah, did I mention that the chair I bought was for a fraction of the cost of a new one? If you want an expensive ergonomic chair from one of the major manufactures, but don't want to pay a big invoice, check out Max's.

Great selection of refurbished office furniture. Max was professional and courteous. He took the time to show and explain the refurbishment process and explain the difference between the various models of chairs. I feel like I got a lot of value for the price. I definitely recommend you come to Max's for your office furniture needs.

I bought a Herman Miller chair size C from Max. After couple months I feel like the chair was too big so I asked Max if I can exchange it for a smaller size. To my surprise Max accepted the exchange without any question asked! Highly recommend, a perfect place to buy home office furniture from!

Found this business through Craigslist. After seeing all the positive reviews on Google, decided to give it a try. Purchased a size A Herman Miller Aereon from Max's this weekend. Talked to Max during the week. He was responsive and helpful. Brian was in the showroom, and was very patient with me as I tried out the Mirra 2 and the Aereon. He was transparent and was clearly experienced in this business. I definitely would buy from them again in the future, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality office chairs at an affordable price.

Excellent experience. The guys were very helpful, had a wide selection of high-end chairs at a low price (picked up a Herman Miller Mirra 2 for less than 40% of MSRP), and COVID precautions felt appropriate, effective, and very safe. They even helped me get my chair into my rather small sports sedan.
