Platte County Prosecuting Atty

I'm not sure how effective or appropriate it is to review a county prosecuting attorneys office. But after I saw the other reviews it is apparent that usually only the vindictive take the time to share experiences.

I received a ticket for failure to register a motor vehicle. I wrote my completely honest explanation of the circumstances (The cliffs notes version is: Covid Mask Mandate-I'm one of those evil non-maskers...and apparently my common sense is average or better, which is why I don't buy the lie) and I emailed it. (after the ticket and before the court date, I have registered my vehicle- No mask mandate)

FULLY EXPECTING a response of "are you kidding me...we have ACTUAL problems we're dealing with so just pay your fine"...Which I would have completely understood.

But much to my surprise, I received a response that the ticket was dismissed. That is a chunk of money that is better in a citizens hands than as government revenue.

I was impressed with the courtesy of service and the common sense of the decision. (even though common sense doesn't seem so common, in todays world).

Office staff is snide and rude.
They're extremely unhelpful, when asking for help with understanding why a ticket was changed in the system without notifying me. And instead of explaining situation they stormed off in an unprofessional and childish manner.
The people pay taxes, therefore are paying their salary in part and to be treated like you're stupid, when you're just asking simple questions and asking for help, is unacceptable.
Bureaucracy is always bad, but this office is top of the list bad. The office manager Chris, needs to really clean house and make sure her stuff is doing their job.

The most unprofessional group of women in the support enforcement division I've ever dealt with from any profession. They disregard properly obtained court orders, like they have something to gain personally from collecting unjust and outside state protocol amounts of child support. I was called a liar, told that what is happening to me "couldn't be, because it's illegal!", and many other out of line comments, from what are supposed to be professionals. These women aren't attorney's by their own admission, and shouldn't be allowed to be making the decisions they are, with no regards for what a actual judge ordered. I'm being a bit vague on purpose for fear of retribution, but I will be contacting the state bar association, the attorney general, and any and everybody else to let them know about the collusion, and corruption that abounds in Platte county.

Most unprofessional, unfair justice system imaginable.
