Quality Inn

I was there for short trip in Washington and I took the inn for my stay. The room as well furnished and clean. Also provides complementary breakfast but you need to be early!

A friend stayed here for a visit. The service was nice. They let him check in about 2pm. The staff was understanding and help him getting the room on the ground floor as he requested. The room has 2 beds and office desk. The only thing unusual was the ceiling. I'm not sure if the spots on it were molds.

I rented this room with a few friends the Sunday we were leaving Ocean City to have a room we can change out of our beach clothes in and to cool down from a hot beach day. That night after we left the hotel and drove 4 hours home I realized I left my wallet in the hotel room. Clearly it is very difficult for me to drive all the way back to Ocean City during the work week. I contacted the hotel and they were able to ship the wallet to me via UPS and I had it by the end of the week. I want to especially thank managers Noah, Eric and Donnie who all worked as a team to help me get back my wallet. You are all lifesavers!

Listen. We all know why you've chosen or are considering choosing this hotel for your trip. For what you pay for you are getting more than you bargained for in the area that you are staying. The rooms are clean, as well as the linens. The bathrooms are tight, but I don't know about you, but I don't like spending all my time in the bathroom at a cheap hotel. I became distraught after booking when I finally got to reading the reviews so I'll address some of the concerns I remember reading and tell you my experience.

Staff (and their rudeness): In my opinion, there was typical staff of a motel there. I was greeted just fine, and when I asked if it were possible to check in 10 minutes early, I was understanding when I was told no by the staff because I can't cause a stink over the rules they have. I was able to check in minutes after 3. While I was waiting in the lobby until I could, the staff talked amoungst themselves about work issues, which I don't care about because I don't expect them to silently wait until I leave and they're still performing their jobs. I was given papers to sign for my room without the price listed, but I had my email with the confirmed price and knew that if there was an issue, I could directly contact my credit card company if the hotel did not fix the issue. Check in and out times were clearly explained as well as breakfast times. Literally 0 issues.

Room cleanliness and safety: A lot of older reviews I have seen have commented on how gross the rooms looked and how they didn't feel safe due to random locks that didn't lock, but the room I had received is an obviously renovated room, and I did not encounter any of the issues people have complained about. A couple of reviews had me terrified of bed bugs, but I did a thorough check before I had settled in, and much to my satisfaction, it was bug free.
The part of town that this hotel is in isn't "seedy", it IS, however, filled with a wide range of stores, shops, and restaurants of varying ethnicities, many bus stops that people utilize, and many people who also choose to walk instead of drive around, which I guess scares people. I stayed multiple days, walked to the nearby Aldi, and have never felt unsafe at any time.

I will mention that I do not think the motel had been occupied heavily at the time of my stay and I did not hear any neighbors that often, and even then, I was not bothered. I'm not a breakfast person, so I didn't check out the breakfast until I was checking out and grabbed a muffin before I hit the road.

All and all, don't be afraid to try this place out, especially if you are low maintenance and have an understanding about the quality of hotel you will get (especially in this location!) for the price you pay. Next time I am in the DC area, I will definitely be staying here again.

I get some personal time every weekend. I choose to come here. They rooms are clean, smell nice. They come with microwave, so you can reheat your food. Even the check out time is later. I'd say 12pm, that's awesome 😎😎😎

Management needs to hire polite receptionist(s).

Was a lovely stay, the continental breakfast was awesome. Make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, coffee, juice, cereal... A+

Need was real comfortable, loved the mattress. Room kept clean daily, service was warm and friendly.

TV and internet not stable using dish technology.

I loved my experience here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean,, I had a smoking room so it smelled a little like cigarettes but you'd expect that in a smoking room. Breakfast was great! Overall good in my opinion.

We stayed for one night and were very satisfied with our experience. Clean, excellent internet, wonderful staff, lots of parking and a great location. Would recommend this property to anyone traveling in the area

We evacuated from Big Pine Key in The Florida Keys to avoid being a casualty from hurricane Irma [ mandatory evacuation] to Takoma Park, an area we live in many years ago, and decided on your hotel. THAT DECISION COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTER!!! YOUR HOTEL IS AWESOME!!! It is clean, beautiful and staffed with professional, kind and helpful people. My wife and I were particularly impressed with your front desk employee Christine who went above and beyond her call of duty to assist us in acclimatizing to the area, find places and services in the area we needed etc. She was VERY kind, very helpful and compassionate!!!! We are currently put up by FEMA in another choice hotel that is a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT AND TERRIBLE LET DOWN compared to your Takoma Park Quality Inn. We actually miss that place but our funds were depleted by hurricane Irma and must rely on FEMA. Unfortunately your Takoma Park Quality Inn is not on FEMA's list so we are stuck in this place...YUCK!!!
Again, your Takoma Park Quality Inn IS truly QUALITY and adheres to your commercial: "BY THE BOOK BY THE BOOM"!!! It's one of the best places I have stayed in for years!!!

Very friendly desk staff. Was patient and helpful. Gave us various options for room accommodations especially for a holiday weekend.

the bed was so comfortable there. I love the shower it was really nice and hot. The room was clean and beautiful and the a.c. was great there.

From Jersey, stop to sleep in I was very tired! Comfortable beds, room very clean. Delicious breakfast .Definitely will come back.

Clean and well located. Hot breakfast and free parking. Bathroom cannot be smaller for a tub and toilet but it is clean.

I was very pleased with my stay and staff were very helpful especially Fikre Liusu. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
