friendly staff, great programming for kids and plenty of magazines and books for adults with computer stations available to use

Chess program for kids runs every Sunday 11am to 1 pm. Great opportunity for kids to play chess and meet up with other kids.

I love my neighbourhood library an the staff is always very helpful.

It is a beautiful library but so small. It is very convenient for me as it is so close to my home. One thing though, the computer room should be open same as library hours does. There is constant noise but one could understand the issue considering the small size. Still, the staff should be mindful of the sound created inside the library at all times.

A fine place to sit, read, study and work. This small library adjoins the Takoma Park community center, and it would be great if in both places the air conditioner is given a break (surely that would save energy, even a staff member opined that it was cold) and if there is an area with tables and chairs for adults, like there are now areas for teens and seniors.
