UMB Bank ATM

I enjoyed Banking at UMB in Platte Woods for 19 years. I rarely ever had any issues over an 18 year period and if I did, the staff was very proactive and fixed it quicky. The showed ownership of what I think was 2 mistakes over that span of 18 years. Im not sure what happened recently but 1 deposit of over $2000 was credited to the wrong account and not mine. The fixed some of this mistake by taking the money out of the wrong account but didnt credit my account. 2 days later when I checked my online balance because a payment wasn't being honored for my electric bill I found out that they never deposited my money into my account. Long story short, my account wasnt credited for 9 days. I took screen shots of the activity on my account and someone was altering information daily. They even took out fees for whatever they were doing as well as charged me for lack of funds in the account and declined 2 other utility bill payments. They never owned the mistake which was clearly theirs, and the mistake cost me aver $170.00. I understand that mistakes happen. Its a part life but they did nothing to rectify the situation and did nothing about the money they had cost me. UMB reports third quarter net income of $88 million. Lose a loyal customer of 19 years because of $170.00 they wouldnt reimburse, and never owned their mistake even when all copies of deposit information given to them was 100% accurate and not the customers error. If you dont have at least a 6 figure balance at UMB, pray that they dont mess up your account because you arent important enough for them to worry about you going to another bank.
