Snider's Super Foods

I admit I have not been to Snider's in about years but I remember it well, I grew up on Woodside Parkway. My parents John and Helen Fitzgerald were original customers in the 1940's. The store was on the corner on Georgia Ave then. My dad was fighting Nazis in Germany. The Snider's extended credit to my Mom with 2 children. Due to gas rations she would use a wagon with the kids for 5 miles to Snider's to get her groceries. My Mom, I think had the last charge account there at 88 years old. I would pay anything to shop there again. I'm 70 now.

Beautiful produe, just beautiful produce. The best in town. Also check out their deli. I love the chopped liver (Snyder's own recipe). You will find surprises tucked away in nooks and crannies. Like their meat and fish cooler. Synder's is the only place I know to get calf's liver. Stop in soon and enjoy your visit.

Love supporting local businesses, I just moved to this area and I have to say that the produce department is small but is soo fresh also I like the fact that they carried good high end gourmet products. Support your local business.

I loved this grocery store only because of the great customer service and maintained prices of the items unlike the competitors Aldi across the cross.

Love the fresh deli chunky chicken and israeli salads. Makes a great lunch!

Great selection of foods with plenty of friendly staff around. Never need to wait in line. Super convenient location. The deli has great stuff too: delicious sandwiches and unique pastry. I’m glad they are still in the neighborhood.

Such a cool grocery store that has a really good selection of food, wine & beer. There's not much more to say than to go see it for yourself and try their knishes at the deli counter!

Love this Ma and Pa store. The music 🎵🎶 is 😃 great. Produce is fresh and they have actual BUTCHERS! You can find cheap cuts if meat which is important in this high inflation state we are in. Staff helpful. Only problem is small so carts will bump each other.

Love Snider's! They're a small neighborhood grocery store that may not have the biggest selection, but what they do have is high-quality. Their deli is top-notch in the produce is always good. They have a nice beer and wine selection, too. The prices are, for the most part, competitive with a larger grocery store. It's the easiest place around to run in and grab something quickly. Also, every employee there seems reasonably happy with their job. The staff is friendly, helpful, and nobody seems sad to be at work (which I always think is a good sign).

Snider's is a wonderful independent, community-minded grocery store. The staff are always friendly and smiling and you rarely have wait in line to check out. They have a great deli counter with quality meats and cheese at competitive prices. They are one of the few (only?) grocery store in the county where you can buy beer and wine. They they have a wide selection of both and specialize in local craft beers.

A bit more expensive but the shopping experience is so much more enjoyable than going to your typical big grocery store. Checkout is extremely fast. I almost never have to wait in line at all. They have a bagger and cashier at every checkout line so checkout is super quick. Great beer and wine selection which is very convenient. My favorite grocery store. Highly recommend.

Very cool old school grocery store, leaning towards being a kosher market. They have a very nice deli, good wine selection, fair beer selection. They will even help carry your groceries to your car

I love this place for one stop shopping. Prices are competitive and I've never had to wait in line. Get my fresh food and wine! Off to a great weekend. Just off the beltway great location 👍🏼

This is one of the last of the neighborhood supermarkets. They cater to the locals, their selection is a little bit more quirky than what you'd find elsewhere, but all the staples are also there. I love going to Snyder's so I can support this wonderful neighborhood institution. Special shout out to the Deli which is always fully stocked with some of the freshest and delicious cold cuts and cheeses, as well as many other delicacies, you can find. Definitely go for the home roast Turkey! Is an institution.

Best price to quality ratio for beef/chicken/lamb/seafood in the area, bar none.

A little pricey on certain items like cheeses, deli fare.

Good quality fruits and veggies.

Store that you can tell treats its employees with respect. Worth supporting.

Local grocery store I love! Best rotisserie chicken in the area, amazing deli & meats. I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years & am always impressed with the service. If you don't have time to wait in line (even the day before Thanksgiving) - this should be your store. It's definitely mine! Small but mighty!!

This is one of the very few locally owned grocery stores that is not a chain. It has a very nice retro feel to it. Maybe it does not carry the wide selection of a larger grocery chain, but I love the old fashioned feel. They do carry some unique items as well as beer and wine which is unusual in the Maryland Suburbs. Good fresh bagels are reasonably priced here. Also one of the few stores that carries "Temptee" whipped cream cheese in the pink tub, which New Yorkers know is THE BEST!

The best. One of the only supermarkets in the area where you don't stand in long check-out lines (the checkout line/store-space ratio is amazing). They have beer and wine. The deli section is the best in the area (whitefish salad!). They've expanded the roasted poultry area (thank you!). Love this place.

Snider's grocery store is well stocked. Clean and manageable for a quick stop and shop. Prices can be a bit steep, but the convenience is worth it. Service personnel are friendly and helpful. Produce is fresh, deli is fresh. Overall its always a great experience shopping at Sniders.
