A very well maintained conservation park with so many trails, varieties of scenery and habitats. We enjoyed the breeze on Fox Meadow Loop Trail, the pond in the forest on Hidden Pond Trail and the beautiful stream along Rachel Carson Greenway Trail. A great place to hike and embrace nature.

We had a great time hiking with our dog. Nearby Elder Pine brewing. There's a trail not listed on the GPS maps, FYI. Not sure where it goes.

Beautiful trails. Relatively short, so perfect for young children (my 8 and 9 year old daughters love this place, and the 3 year old will do half a mile or so before asking to jump into the carrier).

Great park for an easy stroll. Trails are well marked and the many loops give you lots of options for variety and length. Lots of big ole trees and cool rock formations. Don't miss out on the brewery nearby!

A great place to go for a walk. The Rachel Carson Parkway goes down next to the creek which is beautiful. There are places on the trail that are muddy, so make sure to wear the right footwear.

Great terrain - rock outcroppings, hills and vales, fields, and the Hawlings river with a tunnel of mountain laurel. Good full loop hike for an hour+.

We had a really nice walk, lots of beautiful woods, kids enjoyed the creek and hidden pond. Plenty to explore with trails that are pretty easy.

Low key and beautiful little park. No long hikes, but the scenery is well worth the visit.

Great variety of trails, I stick to the greenway trail for the dogs but there are also lots of horse trails and more.

This is a fun place to hike- parts of it are good for beginners and other parts a bit more challenging and good for trail runners. Trail is clearly marked, well traveled and… wow. CLEAN! I’m so used to seeing litter on other trails, so the folks using this trail and whoever is keeping this trail maintained is doing a great job! We’re definitely going back for a longer hike. (Spent only a hour here).

Very nice little park. Not suitable if you want a really long hike or elevation changes, but perfect for hikes of an hour or two, relatively flat, and a variety of terrains - meadow, forest, and creekside. Also nice for bird watching.

A beautiful, peaceful hike convenient to Laytonsville and MV; loads of birds. Fields, woods, pond and creek.

What a great hike today. Been there many times but today was the best. Many trails. Our route today was the longest I've taken here (about 3.5 miles) and part of it was next to a beautiful stream full of boulders through the woods then up a long hill to a great rock formation overlook. Enjoy.

Really lovely park with lots of trails. We spent 2 hours walking and still haven't explored everything! Nice gravel lot and it's a short walk to a nearby brewery for refreshments.

Gorgeous! Diverse areas with a stream, river, forests, meadow, and more. Trails are for everyone, including families, dogs, horses, etc. The river was a great place to stop and explore and I'd love to come back during the summer and splash in the stream. We had a picnic lunch along the riverbank and enjoyed a 2 mile hike. Can't wait to return!
