Great experience every visit! The front staff are so welcoming and the techs are so sweet and thorough! Every staff member there is very knowledgeable and want the best for your pet. They are open and honest for all treatment recommendations and cost. Their pricing is the most fair you will find in the area!

Great energy and bedside manor. Ms. Bailey and Mr. Moco had nothing but kisses and licks for her. That said, Mark is still holding the front desk together and making sure everything runs smoothly.

We chose Montgomery Animal Hospital based on rave reviews from friends and neighbors. We brought our new to us rescue pup for her first visit. The communication was good from the first call. Their safety procedures for Covid made us feel safe. We called when we arrived. A tech came out to talk with us and bring our pup in for her visit. The vet called to discuss during the visit, and then our pup was brought back and we paid from the car. Our pup seemed to do fine, even without us with her. Thanks MAH!

We are leaving town but have truly appreciated the care this team provided our cats. Loss of love and expertise. Bryce was a stellar technician and made sure our cats felt welcomed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful veterinary hospital! The staff are wonderful and caring. The facility looks brand new inside and the staff clean up after the pet visits quickly. The tech took us back promptly before our scheduled visit time and the veterinarian arrived very quickly. All were caring during the annual visit and there is no doubt they truly care deep down for animals! Thank you. Top notch facility - recommend 100%!

The doctors and assistants here are fantastic, even the owner. We have 6 kittens that were born a few months ago and they set aside an hour to see all of them at once for us when needed. They get excited when we show up with the 6 kittens and you can tell they truly love animals. They're great.

I have no words to describe the incredible treatment we got from the veterinarian and staff as we dealt with difficult situation. We took our dog Luna for a routine visit and asked about a recent breathing issue. Sadly, we learned our baby had late stage cancer and probably only days to live. It was Friday afternoon and the vet was scheduled to leave soon but he waited for me to go get our children so that they could be there and say goodbye. I also noted a number of other small details to help us deal with it.

*Long post* I truly appreciate their staff and veterinarians. I recently had to put my dog of 13 years to sleep. We have pet insurance through Banfield Pet Hospital at PetSmart. Despite that, when we needed to board my Coco, we chose to use Montgomery Animal Hospital because reviews shared that the hospital staff was warm and that's what we needed for our older dog. My experience with PetSmart boarding was that they were impersonal and overpriced. We also reached out to other boarders in the area who told us that my Coco was too old to be boarded. MAH welcomed and loved on Coco despite her age. When we picked her up, she looked happy and very well taken care of. And the staff was really personal and communicated. So we decided to take her back again. We just knew that they understood Coco didn't need much activity, she only needed love and attention. They seemed eager to step in for us while we closed out our end of summer trips.

A couple of weeks ago, Coco stopped eating. I took her to Banfield for an emergency visit. The vet on hand suggested we try an appetite stimulant but if Coco didn't start to eat after 1-2 days, we would need to put her to sleep. However, I didn't get the sense that the vet shared this information with me out of concern for a patient that has been in their care for over 13 years. Instead, I felt that the vet wanted to ensure that she/Banfield wasn't liable for any legal claims I could possibly make if the appetite stimulant didn't work. She kept repeating that if the medication didn't work, we would have to put Coco to sleep. I completely understood this and didn't need her to repeat it multiple times within the visit.

Needless to say, the medication didn't work. Although Coco was under Banfield pet insurance, we had a really warm experience with MAH so we decided to work with them to ensure Coco had a pleasant transition. Our decision was confirmed as the right one when days after Coco's transition, we received a personalized, handwritten card from the MAH staff expressing their condolences. We've yet to hear back from Banfield to even inquire about whether or not the appetite stimulant worked. We did hear back from their insurance department via email to confirm that even though we've canceled our insurance, we would still have monthly payments until May 2023 because our agreement was a contract that has to be paid out. There is no sympathy there or understanding. Only financial motivation. How hard will the reminder be each month when we pay on insurance for our dead pet.

Regardless, MAH was the right decision for our boarding and transition needs. The staff are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone who has a young or old pet or anyone who needs a quick consultation from a veterinarian that hasn't been clouded by corporate bureaucracy.

Dr. Debra Sapcariu has been our family vet for over 23 years, so when she announced she was moving to Montgomery Animal Hospital, there was no question we would be following her there. Dr. Debra has always treated our pets as her own. She answers questions patiently and thoroughly, and always has our pets’ best interests in mind. We appreciate her kindness and compassion, not only with our pets, but with us too. She has helped us through the loss of 3 of our pets over the years, giving us guidance and loving support throughout the experiences. Upon our first visit to Montgomery Animal Hospital, we also found the entire staff to be very helpful and friendly. I bring 3 Golden Retrievers and they went so far as to offer help getting them in from my car and back out, and made notes in their file to identify which dog is which so they can address them by name. They are always patient and happy to help in any way they can when I call in with questions. I look forward to continuing our family vet care with Dr. Debra in her new place and highly recommend Montgomery Animal Hospital to anyone in need of quality vet services.

Our experience at the Montgomery Animal Hospital has been wonderful! The staff and vets have been caring and supportive during our visits and worked with us through some difficult situations with our pets. Their prices were always reasonable and it was apparent that our animals' well-being was a priority in all of our interactions. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone living in the area.

My puppy a German Shepherd goes there for his regular vet appointment. They are definitely caring and kind to the families and their animals. The vets are fantastic they really explain what is going on and what needs to be done. Its seems is a little expensive compared to others but I think is worth it for the service received.

I've been working with Dr. Debra to diagnose and treat hyperthyroid in one of my cats. She's knowledgeable and kind. The vet techs and front desk folks I've worked with over the past few months have been great as well.

We drive over an hour to see Dr. Jaffe and his fabulous team at Montgomery Animal Hospital. This is truly an amazing place. Dr. Jaffe and all of the staff care deeply for their 4-legged customers AND pet owners. I will never forget the kindness and compassion they showed us when it was time to say our "goodbyes" to our last pet. I have known Dr. Jaffe and his staff for more than ten years now and we have never had a negative experience. Frankly, I don't think we have even had just an average experience. They go above and beyond to make our visits as easy as possible - on me and my pet. These are good people with big hearts who do incredibly things to care for and save animals.

The doctors and staff here are wonderful, friendly and knowledgable. Having 5 cats, I spend a LOT of time at the vets office and I have nothing less than great to say about the people here. Make sure to give Bigfoot some love when the lobby is open again, too!

We love this veterinarian hospital. Vets are honest and empathetic. Staff is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable and you don't feel like you were ripped off. I have used other vets in the area, and it a racket...

Excellent care and attention paid to your most precious family members. Outstanding service by caring workers. Not the cheapest for meds, so you might have to go online but important to have such a dedicated and caring place in Rockville area.

I have been a client of Montgomery Animal Hospital for almost 3 years. My Westie has been going to MAH since she was 8 weeks old. All the staff are very caring of my dog especially Dr. Adam Jaffe, Dr. Jonathan Walston, and Dr. Hannah Levy. Another staff member that is great is Mark Miller. He is always so friendly and gets you answers to your questions quickly! I would highly recommend MAH!

The care for your animals at Montgomery Animal Hospital is absolutely unparalleled. I have never in my entire life encountered a group of people that care about animal welfare more. They all do rescue and charity work on the side, and their lives are about helping animals. They are hands down the best people I have ever seen in the area. Dr Jaffe is amazing, and will tell you the truth, and will explain everything you need to understand, and answer all of your questions, without talking down to you or being dismissive. I have been bringing our family dogs to him since He got out of vet school.
