Outreach Vision

There is so much technology to see all parts of my eyes. Dr. Jenks explained the pictures of my entire eye and showed me why I need to return in a few months to compare some cloudy spots in the back of my eye near the stem that goes to the brain that we would like to dissipate. The office staff are all very good at their responsibilities. Dr. Jenks’ and Nancy’s kids and mine went to school together. I highly recommend for a full service!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Extremely happy with Dr. Jenks and Staff. Have had vision problems all my life and each dr had their own view of what was causing it.. but no one was able to figure it out or resolve it until now. Dr Jenks not only figured it out but resolved it!! VERY THROUGH exam and worth the 3 hour drive!

Our 8 year old son has suffered with visual difficulty and had recently been diagnosed with mild amblyopia (lazy eye) from a different optometrist, with no intervention prescribed. We noticed attention and focus issues were present in school, so went to Outreach Vision based on a social media posting of one of his patients doing eye therapy (something totally new to us). From the first visit with Dr. Jenks and his staff, where they did a variety of incredibly thorough assessments that our son had not gone through before, and briefly chatting with Dr Jenks about the care plan moving forward, we felt like so many of the dots we had been trying to connect were being addressed! Outreach Vision staff took their time to understand and work with our unique challenges. Now, several months later, and after regular in home and in office therapy sessions, our son improved his depth perception, visual acuity, and eye tracking by leaps and bounds. He was also (finally) fitted with glasses that actually fit him and would positively impact his vision. He even has improved his balance and gross motor movements. We are so thankful to Dr Jenks and Erin (the Vision Therapist, who is amazing with kids!), as well as Nancy, who answered all of our enrollment and appointment questions. Therapy at Outreach Vision has literally changed the way our child sees and interacts with the world around him. We highly recommend Outreach Vision!

It was such a pleasure to have someone care, and help find a solution to my problems. The difference in having the Binocular Vision Disorder fixed has been tremendous. It has changed the way I sleep, my energy levels, and mental awareness.

I had a great experience. The staff were all very kind & helpful! The doctor even helped me pick out my glasses! I have never had this happen before, he also talked to me about how important diet is for the eyes and gave me some great tips! I would highly recommend Outreach Vision!!!

Took one of my kids here to get an eye exam for the first time 2 months ago and had a positive experience so I brought another one of my kids in today. The whole staff is so great we are now going to be taking the whole family here!
Dr. Jenks is extremely knowledgeable and even helped with some at-home exercises we can do on our own. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient and kind, especially with my young kids. Plus, my husband and I both learned things about our eyes and how they work that we as life-long glasses wearers did not know. We’ve never had an optometrist treat us as wonderfully as this office did. Highly recommended.

Dr. Jenks took care of me when I ripped my last contact and let me come down and grab another without being a customer and then let me schedule an appointment for later Incredible service!

If you or a family member are/is having focus issues, I highly recommend you see Dr. Jenks. The whole staff are awesome caring people. I have not have such an extensive exam and I have been to specialists in the past. Dr Jenks is top notch and explains everything he is doing and what he sees that is going on with your vision.

I have had glasses made other places, but none have improved my vision as much as these. Very friendly and efficient staff.
