Roxanne's Cafe

A quick search led us here. In KC for an event and on the way home we stopped here, not disappointed. I had the 1/2 b+g, bacon, hash browns, eggs, nailed it! The biscuit was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Wife and I shared a French toast that also delicious! Got a cinnamon roll to go, still need to eat that. Highly recommend this place! Support local. We will come back for sure!

Roxanne's is great! The food is always great. It's great "comfort food". The atmosphere is like a small-town restaurant where everyone is welcome and the staff there is wonderful. I've been going there for quite a while, and the same people have been working there since I've been going, so that tells me they are happy working there, and that carries over to how they treat their customers, which is great. I'm not going to lie, Carrie is one of my favorite waitresses up there, but EVERYONE is great.

Service was quick. No pressure to order quickly so plenty of time to look over the menu. Coffee was good. I ordered pancakes with eggs and sausage (3 pancakes, 2 eggs to order and 2 sausage patties). My wife ordered French toast. Breakfast came out quickly. The pancakes were hot, lots of butter, and quite tasty. The eggs were properly done over medium. I was disappointed with the sausages. They weren't bad, but they were very mild. No real flavor to them. I'll be back, just change sausage to bacon!

This is an amazing place to eat! No joke, best burger I have had since my grandfather's. I know not everyone likes sour krout, but if you do order the Platt city krout burger and fried okra, absolutely to die for! Either way like it or not their rolls and buns are equally amazing, so is the service and the prices are affordable and meals are very filling. I'm a big guy and I was full when I was done with my plate. The waitress was very good as well quick and very nice and did an amazing job. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Phenomenal mom and pop place. Awesome classic American menu. Their chicken fried chicken was tasty.

Wonderful local restaurant to eat at if you ever pass through Platte City, MO. Or if you live nearby, we eat there quite often. Prices are reasonable too.

Ate out a few places this weekend and this was the first place to make us feel welcome as we walked in. I got the omelet which was great. Waitress was very friendly and fast. In and out in under 25 minutes.

My family visited a week ago. Cute little cafe. I love the western decor. Be sure to ask for Karen as your server. She was fantastic! 🙂

I am one who does not eat fried chicken anywhere when I go out because it’s always a let down however, the one exception (minus my home town fried chicken) is the chicken at Roxanne’s Cafe. This is your hometown, comfort food fried chicken. It has the best crunch, seasoning, and the Chen is nice and moist. 10/10 recommend!

This feels like a stand alone restaurant on a main street USA.. The food is excellent.. The very best pecan pie anywhere.

I 💕 this diner. BLT and homemade onion rings with a giant homemade cinnamon roll for later is the BEST!! Will always go there whenever I can.

Always my go to when I'm coming back to Nebraska from Kansas City! Food is always delicious and extremely well priced! The selection is fantastic and exactly what you'd hope for. Have never had any sort of issue with service, food is always quick, and the wait staff is always extremely kind. Definitely would recommend checking this place out and ignoring the more negative reviews, been here many times haven't had an issue yet!

Great Family owned Cafe the whole family very busy with regular customers and my Group of JROTC from Pekin High School.
They served me some excellent Food.. I understand the have two locations.. Very Friendly staff prompt service Ave once again great Food

A great down-home dining experience. Always good food & service in a very warm, friendly atmosphere. You won't leave hungry.
We had not been there in about a year but stopped in again while traveling. Some remodeling was in process, but accommodations had been made to continue serving in a safe, smaller, second room, with no lessening of food or service quality!

Roxanne's is one of our favorites to dine at. The food is delicious, servers are down to earth, and it is reasonably priced. Check out their cinnamon rolls. Only need one!

Had brunch with family great food, friendly service allowed us to visit n kept our glass full.
