Amazing thrift store. I can’t believe I’ve lived in the DMV for over 20 years and just discovered it. Many of the reviews say the staff there is rude, but that was not my experience. Then again I am not a POC. I’m a 60 year old Whyte woman . Some stuff is pricey e.g. I saw a Corningware dish with lid for $40, but altogether lots of items are cheap enough.

I bought a total of 4 purses/handbags for only $40 plus tax. They were running a special, buy one purse and get the other 3 free. One of the purses was a brand new Nordstrom leather purse with the original tags ($119) still on the purse, the other was a beautiful black Lug purse with original tags on it, the other was a black Coach, and the other was a beautiful burgundy leather purse. Also, bought a brand new Free Country tankini top with the original tags on it. I think it is best to go on a weekday, as the thrift store is not as crowded. The store is pretty organized. The cashiers and staff that I dealt with were nice. All items were very reasonably priced. Would go back again!

I love this thrift store because they sieve out the bad and sell the good stuff. The prices are cheaper than most thrift stores in the area and by the end of each month, they may have a sale. The place is operated by solely volunteers so customer service may be lacking as some people have mentioned but I appreciate what every volunteer is trying to do here. Most of the staff are retired folk, many with health issues yet they tirelessly come to run the store. I have come here so often that I talk to them and have gotten to know them better.

Also they do have an issue with theft and I saw it with my own eyes where a lady and her family hid things in their basket and covered it with their coat. The staff had to run out to stop them and they just pretended that they forgot about not paying. Yeah right. I seriously do not understand people who steal from thrift stores. I think they are generally very nice but just very watchful of everyone, which may give others the impression of being unfriendly.

ALL proceeds go to the Montgomery Hospital behind the thrift store and they bought a robotic arm that aids with operations for the pediatrics department.

I've been shopping here since the early 80s. Obviously prices have increased as everywhere else but one can find great items in good condition. Staff is set in their ways because they are older but friendly if given a chance.

I love this place! Who knew they'd have so many great, used books in surprisingly good condition!? Hardcovers are only $1.00 and paperbacks are a mere $0.50. Unbelievable! And their selection is awesome too! Young and old alike will have no problem finding an interesting book to read. I guarantee it! They also have all kinds of other cool knick-knacks, so head on down there and dive in! Tell 'em Jordan sent ya 🤓

Bought a dress. Reasonably priced. Ladies who worked there were nice. Would love if the hours open would be extended.
