Cross Winds Family Campground

We had a wonderful time here for our first camping trip! We loved the buddy site option since we were camping with friends, the shared center area was great. We have a larger camper and we were able to get in and out without any issues. The campground being so close to the interstate was great, and we didn’t hear ANY of the traffic. Super quiet and clean area. Thank you for letting us stay!

Nice, quiet campgrounds. Easy pull through spots. Has a pool and a small creek you can fish in. Definitely recommend bringing your golf cart if you have one. Easy access from highway and there is a dollar general close by if you need anything. Owners work hard to keep these grounds clean and quiet.

This is my second time camping at Cross Winds. I attended the Lexington barbecue festival over the weekend. Every campsite was decorated for Halloween and some of the sites were over the top amazing. A special shout out to the groundskeeper Todd for showing me the ropes of starting a Fire. I am totally new to camping and I am forever grateful for the kindness at this RV campground. I look forward to coming back again soon.

Convenient location just off of i85. Perfect for a local camping trip with full hook ups. The staff and friendly and encouraging. We stay here at least three times a year. My daughter loves the playground. The pool is small but it serves its purpose and has plenty of seating and umbrellas. Never had a issue with noisy campsites or unruly tenants. Highly recommend!... Make sure to visit nearby downtown Lexington and take pictures with all the pigs!

We have stayed here several times for an evening great location right off the highway. Easy to get in and out of.

This is a really nice Campground! The staff is so friendly and professional! You have beautiful views while walking the campground. They have a laundry facility, playground, and a pool! They even have a fishing pond! The lot sizes are really big and spacious! We will definitely come back!

We stayed here approximately 2 weeks. Very nice and quiet, we had a site at the end, #D16. Clean and even lots, the roads are easy in and out, very close to the main highway. They are building new sites so be aware of the view if you choose a site at the end, but it didn't bother us. We loved our stay! The staff are super friendly! Lots of room to walk your dog and enjoy a stroll through the sites. Enjoyed LOTS of gorgeous sunsets!

Beautiful, friendly campground. Large camper sites, walking trails, pool, playground, laundry facilities, store, and showers. Everything was very clean. Literally 5 minutes off the interstate, but very peaceful and quiet! We stayed at site B6, which was full hookups, including cable TV. Trash pickup at site.

The owners and staff made this campground a great place to stay. This place is close to very good amenities.

This campground is amazingly well maintained and the cleanest, most modern bathhouse we have used.
Our campsite was perfect - clean, level, easy hook-ups, and completely shaded thanks to a beautiful tree canopy.
We have 3 dogs and spent a lot of time on the wide, clear trails.
Easy access from interstate but you feel you are miles from civilization.

We have camped here on 2 separate occasions and already booked our 3rd. Very nice owners and staff. Campground is very clean

We have stayed at Cross Winds 5 or 6 times in the past few years and have always had a positive experience. Friendly and helpful staff and its obviously well run. Campsites are spacious and mostly shaded and includes a metal trash can emptied daily, so no lugging your trash to a skanky dumpster on the other side of the park. Quiet yet close to I85, Salisbury and Lexington. We'll definitely be back!

Love this place. The staff are very helpful they went far and beyond to help us. It's is very quite and enjoyable weekend even though it rained all weekend. If you're looking for somewhere to stay I would highly suggest this place. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars.

Very well maintained campgrounds and facilities. Staff is fantastic. Bathrooms very clean. Nothing negative for me to comment on.

This is a campground and RV park, apparently Google maps thinks this a hotel. There are no rooms here.

Amazing little weekend getaway location. Quite and SUPER Clean! No issues for us what so ever. We will be back, it will become our new close to home favorite campground!

Very beautiful campground. Lots of amentities. All the guests were nice. Fishing pond to go fishing all though there was no fish caught after being out there a couple of hours. Not even some nibbles. So not sure if there are any fish in there like they say there are. Other then that great place to stay.

Great campground! Super clean. Large sites-So much room. Very quiet area-little bit of road noise, but not too bad. Clean bathhouse. Clean pool. Staff friendly and helpful. Met the owners-So very sweet. Cable worked great. Super price for full hook ups! Pet friendly. Nice playground with horse shoe pit, little pond for catch and release.

Wonderful campground with easy access, level site and trash can at each site. Extremely friendly staff and well maintained. Definitely will be booking again.

The owners and staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. I had the pleasure of working in the area so my dog and I stayed here in the winter for a few months. When I had trouble with my water, they helped me troubleshoot and fix it. Anytime I interacted with staff they assured all my needs were met and tolerated my Amazon deliveries. The sites are mostly beautiful, shaded and lovely walking areas. Laundry room affordable and clean. Bathhouse clean. Garbage pick up a plus, and propane fills on site. A bit of peace and serenity in a chaotic world.
