Great detour off I 95 for the kids. Rented paddle boats, touched turtles, saw a lot of wildlife. Highly recommended as a break from driving

The kids absolutely loved this place. I was pleasantly surprised about it. There were a few things they could touch and washing stations available. We ended up staying over an hour and then walked the grounds.

Very nice place to take walks with your dog or solo, so peaceful. Lots of birds to see. Also great spot for fishing. Has campsites available but have to walk, canoe or bike your camping gear. Can do your own water testing. People are very nice and friendly. Also at the entrance you can hold birthday parties and gatherings of most types and paddle boat rentals. If your looking to take walks but rather not do it in citish area this the place to go!

A great place to spend nature-time with young children and infants. Playgrounds, wide open grassy areas, covered tables, nature trails that are stroller friendly and decent bathrooms with changing tables! My toddler and I spent 2 hours there and could have stayed longer. We paid the $2 to go into the exhibits and it was worth it. Turtle touch tank, large aquarium and some beautiful snakes

Small visitor center, but for the group on Memorial Day, the center 's auditorium was perfect for the group in attendance for the celebration that day.

I had a lot of fun at the waterside.

The museum looked great from the moments I was inside before they closed up the inside for the day.

I always like the installations that show how much plastic is found in waterways and systems. This piece is inside.

The place was clean though!

Pick up your trash and don't throw your junk in any water! Thanks 😬

For a minimal fee, you can see the exhibits and even do science experiments with the knowledgeable staff. Great when it's too cold to nature walk. The poisonous snakes are pretty thrilling to see, the diamondback rattlesnake struck at the glass!

Been in need of a place to kick back and enjoy fishing, beats moratoc and it's snags, just gotta watch out for snakes and the massive swarms of bugs around some areas
