Barry and Donna are amazing people. They genuinely care about people. Barry's Crab Soup is one of the best kept secrets around. They create a contagious culture of caring individuals with whoever they are around. Love being around them. They give to so many charities and the community. They are always willing to help out those around them and know how to have fun. Give their restaurant and hotel a try. You won't regret it. Come stay at Barry's!

I always enjoy Barry's. It is a down-home, casual hangout with friendly locals and tourists. It sits right on the Currituck Sound and has wonderful views. It has docking so boaters can motor up for drinks or a bite to eat.

Our server Karen was amazing. We stopped for lunch on a motorcycle ride and had a beautiful water view and great food at unbelievable price.

Perfect local place since 1958 and Veteran own.. please support local. Great spirits and apps. and outstanding pizza. Ask for Karen she is so personal and provides great service.

Food was good. The portions were a little small. Service was a bit slow because of understaffing. But I like to stop here when I'm down that way for a bike ride.

We stayed in the pirate themed room. Barry's place has great vibes and excellent hospitality. Donna was professional and polite during check in process. Rooms are dated but comfy and no issues. AC worked great and the bathroom was recently remodeled, with a very nice shower. Also they are affordable! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. Right on the water with fantastic views!

Really nice staff and great food! Had an awesome steamed shrimp appetizer and broiled scallops entree. Great views from the dock. Biker friendly, cool vibe!

Had 2 great nights there. Food was excellent. Awesome atmosphere and service was on point. Best party in years!

Had a great time here having brunch with the girls. Can’t wait to go back. My burger and Bloody Mary were awesome.

Did a memorial ride and Barry's was the destination. They were more than accommodating and plenty of awesome food and beverages. Off the beaten path and only the few now it's charm. Waterfront location and themed hotel rooms to boot. Check it out on your way the beach.

Enjoyed oyster rockefeller with she crab soup (Barry’s recipe) and hush puppies. Delicious meal!

Great food, bar, and friendly staff. Extra parking on the right and boat dock on the side.

If you are looking for posh upscale, elegant dining....look somewhere else. If you want great people, in a unique venue, with some good food and a lively atmosphere then make your way to Barry's.

We went for the $12.95 Prime Rib special and it didn't disappoint. Not a huge hunk of meat but respectful and super tasty.

Again not fancy, mostly bar food but good honest bar food.

A very good, no a great local restaurant. Karen was amazing. Got to sit in the almost outside patio and watch the ocean while we ate. The pizza was awesome. Heard they have music on Friday Nights. This might be a revisit

The food was good. We started with She crab soup, chock full of crab meat, then had prime rib and scallops. The pan seared scallops were delish and the beef was thick, juicy and perfectly cooked... cut it with a fork. Banana pie was fresh made, rich, not only tasted good but smelled wonderful. The location is hard to beat, directly on the Currituck sound. I took a sunset picture, posted here.

Delightful place for relaxation! The owners are very nice and take great pride in their property. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Always feels like home!! Guess being born in Currituck helps, but honestly we love the atmosphere as much as the food & drinks! Barry, thanks for all you do.
