Perfect place to go with your family. Excellent service, incredible food, everything on time, definitely coming back soon. The taste is something you have to try for sure.

El Portillo is our new favorite Mexican restaurant!!! We just moved to the area and love Mexican food. We stop here once a week and try something different each time. They do not disappoint. The meals are tasty, the staff is great and the decor is very festive. Highly recommend if you are passing through, live on the beach or live on the mainland! ¡Muchos Gracias!

We live 3 hours away. But anytime we come see family, we have to stop and eat. The food is amazing. Service is fast and friendly. We've been multiple times and have no complaints at all.

Must stop in if you have 30 minutes. Fast service even during rush hour!! Good food!!

First I'll start by saying i dont know how much the drinks were, seeing as my boyfriend didn't let me see the bill. They were delicious though! The food was very good and the service was great! It was our first visit here and I will definitely go back. We were seated in a booth, however, they had a nice looking bar as well. They close at 10pm on the night we went, which was a Friday. I really had a good "first" date at this restaurant. Lol Also, I will add that the restroom was clean which is always a plus. One last thing that I thought was nice was the bench outside, seeing as I am a smoker on occasion. I really enjoyed my drinks and my meal at this local establishment. As always, I'm happy to support our local businesses. Thank you!

It was more than I could eat, for a great price. I generally get the speedy Gonzales at any Mexican restaurant, this one was exceptionally good. Was just passing by, seen it decided to stop in. I'm glad I did.

I go for the Skinny Margarita. Get the large as its so good the small size is just not enough. The Carnitas are pretty spot on for an actual taco my husband says. The carnitas are just like the ones we get in a brown bag at any swap meet. I always end up getting enchiladas supremas as there are no Flautas offered there are many steps to make enchiladas at home so we only have them when someone else makes them.
Our server was super nice, funny and service was prompt. I wish I had gotten her name to request her the next time. We went at 6pm on a Tuesday.

The beef and chicken didn't seem cheap like some restaurants, the peppers and onions were cooked well, and the salsa was good. I wish they filled the salsa bowl more..

I love this place because it feels like it has the real authentic Mexican culture woven into everything about it. The food is also amazing and is honestly some of my favorite food. Also the customer service is beyond incredible. If you need something they are already there cause they new you wanted another refill. This truly is an amazing restaurant that I can't wait to go back and eat at.

Very good food. The service was outstanding and quick. They let us sit and visit which was very nice . It was a gathering of family from out of state and from VA & N.C. We really enjoyed ourselves.
