Great Museum. So much for kids to do but we adults had fun as well.

This place was both fun and educational for the kids. Outside they have an outdoor nature area where the kids can free play with sand, mud, trees trunks, and find fossils. Inside they have multiple hands-on science experiments, with lab coats, for the kids to dress up and be scientists. Then there is another indoor area especially for younger kids to play and learn, which is gated so they can't get out. All the staff was very friendly and patient. They took the time to make sure my kids had fun and learned something. And it was all free. Thank you to the staff for all they do. The woman helping us was a volunteer!

We absolutely love this museum.. they operate from donations so each dollar in the drop box helps our kids have a indoor learning and playing place. They have everything truly.. costume dress up, building blocks, cooking set, reading area with huge pillows, bee hive playhouse. For older children they have 17-20 lab experiments and handson activities.. me and my son Carson go almost every week for a couple hours and we never run out stuff to do.. The have outside shark tooth and fossil dig, they have outside wood building and water table activities that include panting thru dirt and of course big fenced in area to run circles safely.. I could write all day stuff they have and never stop writing but I love Kellie, Amanda Germaine, Everyone at whiteville museum..

Went with my grandchildren here while visiting Columbus Co. From story time to putting on put lab coats, we had such a fun time. I think what makes this place awesome though is the staff! Such friendly and kind folks! Very much appreciated.

Great atmosphere and activities to engage all ages. Very friendly and helpful staff. We all, grandparents, adult children and grandchildren enjoyed this very much and plan to return.

Absolutely a GREAT place to bring kids! My son loves playing both inside and on the outdoor playground! He loves the dinosaur exhibit. They also have group story times along with other activities...just an all around great learning experience for little ones!

This museum is great for kids to learn about evolution, geology, animals, the microscopic world, and many more! I went with my wife and the staff were really friendly. We even watched a movie there with their own in house cinema (a projector and a lot of chairs). I would bring my children here if I had any.

We have always been treated nicely by staff who are very helpful. The programs are nice and we enjoy them.

It's much smaller than Raliegh's science museum. Very ideal for families with children under 5 years old . Staff is delightful and educational. It's a must go for young families and grandparents with their grandbabies looking to tire them out 🥰. The fun continues outdoors so bring your wet wipes or take them back into the restroom! Enjoy !

What a fun place for kids and adults. One of my favorites is the investigative lab, where you can explore the scientific process by using the microscope and other techniques to process information.
They also have a Nature Play Space, Discovery Forest and a Naturalist Center. There is do much to do and examine and explore here. It is a must do while in Whiteville. Explore, adventure and have fun
Best of all admission is free!

Great place and the people there really love the place and their jobs and it shows. My little girl always has a great time and they always have something going on from free movies to different festivals it is free and great time for the family with small kids.

The staff is very friendly and informative. The programs are free and they have something for all ages. I love bringing my children to explore, interact, learn, and have fun.

Great variety of wonderful opportunities for children. High quality exhibits in a resource ful environment. Looking forward to seeing my granddaughter grow into the more advanced exhibits.

This is a small but interesting place. We were given individual attention! She grabbed some pond water from outside and we explored what it looked like under a microscope! We were all very satisfied when we left the museum.
