Alice F. Keene District Park

Beautiful open space with plenty of walking room where one can lose oneself on the trails. Feeling like you're in the woods, but you're not. There's a half court basketball court, baseball fields, soccer fields, bars for playing, and building muscle. Swing sets and a decent playground for kids. There's also two rentable shelters. The park is very pet friendly.

The Downside is that the water fountains usually don't work. Part of the park is currently under construction , but it doesn't affect the above-mentioned. The soccer field always has a keep off sign. There's at least 3 fields, so I just don't understand that. Bathrooms can never be clean enough.

It's still my favorite park. I drive 20 minutes to go there.

I love the trail. Infact, there's two trails there, it's family friendly, and very clean with picnic tables too and there's plenty shade and sun to enjoy a brisk walk. The only problem is the bathroom stinks horribly.

We love this local park. Great for dog and kid walking. Fun playground for the kids.
They put in new trails through the woods that are a nice little peaceful hike as well, but watch out for mosquitos in the summer.
We discovered today that someone decorated the trails for the holidays. So cute!

It's a great park for walking and also for kids. The whole family will enjoy it here.

Went here to early vote. Noticed playground, nice well kept lawn and walking trail. Not sure of the programs offered here, but the inside looked like a nice facility.

My niece and nephews love this park. Nice walkways. They have fun and I can walk in nature.

I have been to this location many times, mainly to walk my pooch, and once to vote. The grounds and walking trails are in top notch condition. I've had our younger grandchildren there on one occasion and the approved the playground. Restrooms are clean and modern.

Reserving the pavilion was easy, they had it signed before we arrived. Plenty of room, clean bathroons,neat playground. We had a really good time with our group.

My family loves this park! The playground is great but we especially love the walking trail.

We love the hiking trails and the playground has a lot to offer for the kids. There's also a half court if you wanted to shoot some hoops.

We just moved here a month ago and I took my wheelchair-bound son to this part to walk with our small dog. People are super friendly and it is very dog friendly there is a place where you can get dog pick up bags and garbage and the walk is paid so it's wheelchair friendly. Quite beautiful it actually goes through sort of the woods skirts the park. Also people are hanging up small Christmas ornaments it's absolutely heartwarming. Met several people walking very friendly wonderful place to spend time. They do have a drinking fountain that is dog high also restrooms for humans and a playground. Several pavilions covered to sit at have your lunch or make a day of it.

What a beautiful park to enjoy with your spouse, children and grandchildren. The paths are excellent for walking, wooded and open, the play area is great for children to be physically challenged and engaged. What an excellent, free, adventure....

Nice paved walking trails for me and my fur babies

Extremely clean, all the trails were nice for a stroller ride The trails were all marked, very easy on the path. Once in awhile there were roots but not a big problem at all and extremely nice shade for a hot summer day. The playground was awesome for little ones to play all around.

Nice walking trail, park for the kiddos snd pet friendly

I walked here fairly regularly when I lived in the area. The natural trails were my favorite, but they weren't always in the best shape. The paved trails weren't so bad; I liked them most when I wasn't out in the open. The picnic tables weren't the cleanest the couple of times I sat in that area, but the playground areas looked very well-maintained. This is a great place for anyone, and there is ample parking, too.

Kids love this park. The sand pit is always a win for our daughter and the walking trails are so nice! The big playground is fit for kids of all ages and the picnic areas surrounding are so nice. The only negative is no wifi. I would love to pop open my laptop and get some work done while the kids play but no wifi is available.
