This buffett does not disappoint. The food is fresh and homeade. The salad bar has lots to choose from, and the homeade ranch is great. I absolutely love the sweet potato rounds. They are my favorite, along with the mashed potatoes and rolls with butter. A variety of dessert options as well. Friendly staff and very clean.

I love Country Cottage. As far as a buffet goes it’s about as good as it gets. All the food tastes homemade (and I presume it is?) nothing tasted like it’s from frozen. The fried chicken is great, the chicken fried steak is great, salad bar is big with plenty of options. The hot food has plenty of homemade dishes that will suit any and everyone. I can’t think of any buffet I’ve had I liked as much. They also have a lot of desserts but I never tried any so I can’t speak to them. But if you have a sweet tooth then they all look really good.

Amazing authentic country cooking buffet right off beautiful State Highway 82. This is genuine Southern Comfort food with fresh ingredients kind staff. Great gift shop as well. We return over and over again!

I don't think I have ever been more impressed with a small town restaurant as I was with this one. The building is beautiful and very quaint. The food was extremely good, especially their fried chicken and bread pudding (hint, ask for the bourbon sauce). On top of this, it's a buffet with different options on different days. It also offers merchandise and unique confectionery items for sale. Do yourself a favor, if you are anywhere near Locust Grove...go here.

The best fried chicken I've had in a long time. All the food was delicious and the cheesecake I had for dessert (plate number four) was that kind of cheesecake where the flavor just keeps getting better the more you eat of it. Absolutely would recommend this place for a nice outing with the wife. Cozy interior, homestyle cooking, and all you can eat.

This is a gem located in North East Oklahoma. Very good home style cooking served buffet style. All you can eat. Good selection of salads, entrees, vegetables, sides and desserts. A Christian environment with a gift shop up front kind of like Cracker Barrel.

We had our first visit today. All of our meals were plentiful and each of them were delicious. Their buffet has plenty of variety and of equal quality as other standalone dishes. This was a great deal considering that prices were cheaper than a lot of other places off similar restaurants. We will be returning.

I wouldn’t normally stop at a buffet and didn’t realize it was just that till after we were seated. Not your typical buffet. Food was clean and fresh, cooked in small batches and provided in a good variety. Service was excellent and water bottle girl provide entertainment with a smile. Fried chicken, catfish, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salads, enchiladas, fajitas etc… A large and delightful dessert bar with an ice cream machine. The owner even made the rounds to visit with patrons and ensure everyone was served well. Just a really nice business, home cooking and plenty of hospitality. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks CC for a good meal!

Wow what a great little restaurant. I stopped in alone Wednesday at 1145a for lunch. When you walk into the place it looks like a fancy bed and breakfast. You walk up to a counter like you're checking into a motel. I was greeted immediately and seated by a hostess.. we walked through what appeared to be a gift shop before we reached the seating area.

The inside of this entire place is extremely well decorated. It looks like the inside of an old Victorian house. A waitress was at my table shortly, took my drink order and asked if I wanted to see a menu or eat buffet. I took the buffet option.

She brought back water and a couple plates. They had a decent little salad bar setup. And several types of hot food, with soups. And several types of deserts. The place is pretty big inside and they were pretty busy.

I had a plate of salad and a little bit of hot buffet food. The food was good. The speed was amazing. The staff were polite and professional. The price was a bit high but I can forgive that in the grand scheme of things. The dining experience and decor inside is wonderful. I would definitely eat here again.

Food was great. Waitress was awesome and catered to our every need. The cashier lacks in politeness to customers with children. My 11 yr old daughter was getting herself, me, my husband, and her sister toothpicks as we were cashing out, was having a hard time getting the knob to turn, and the cashier had the nerve to tell her "that's enough now". She hadn't even gotten two out of it! She's lucky I didn't feel like getting in the the flesh that afternoon. 😕

The food was really good. I had the buffet which I had fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes with a apple cobbler for desert and it was great. It was like eating at your grandparents for Thanksgiving. I came out of there full as a tick. 👍

It was our first visit to the Country Cottage. We went there at lunch time and we were quite pleased with the food selection. All the different foods were well prepared and very tasty. I would recommend eating there to others!

Loved the cottage decor, friendly service, and food. Homestyle comfort foods including brisket, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, ribs, baked ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, biscuits, and greens +more. Salad and dessert bars were good too. This is a must stop eatary if your in town.

Update: If you arrive before between the lunch crowd and dinner crowd, like say around 3pm, the food is not as tasty, the food is cold and the oil made the fries taste like wet dog smells, so you really have to go when it's the lunch hours and dinner hours for fresh food. I really enjoyed the food when it was fresh, but when I experienced the in between hours, I was disappointed 😞

I come here once a month to enjoy the delicious buffet 😋 Once you enter the place, there is a little shop of all kinds of stuff, where you can buy things for your home or self. It's a adorable little shop. I come here for the ranch dressing, yes I know you can get ranch anywhere but their ranch reminds me of a diner I worked at when I was 16. It brought back memories 😌 I also get the fried chicken 🍗 it's very tasty and crispy, just the way I like it. However, I went yesterday with my family and a waitress with blonde hair come over to take our drink order, she took the order and we went to get our food, when we got back to the table, our drinks haven't arrived yet, we looked for her and didn't see her, after 10min another waitress brings out our drinks and made sure we found everything ok. We finally see the first waitress and she was waiting on a table with only men and every table that came in after that, that had only men, she would be the one that serves them. We felt like just because we are women she wouldn't serve us, I found that to be offensive to my taste, so thank you Hailey for taking care of us very well. ❤❤❤

A delightful place to eat, food is good and plentiful. Cost $33 for my wife and I, they gave my wife a to go tea, super nice people.

We have been here several times over the last few years since they opened back up. It is always great. The food has always been awesome. There is no way you can eat some of everything they offer, just too much. The service has always been great and the restaurant super clean thru out. Nothing but 1st class from this place. Five-star rating. Living out of state we cannot come here as much as I would like too. So, every time we are close, we stop by.
