Fantastic experience. While on vacation, this was our family dinner choice and WOW were we glad. Seafood pasta was amazing. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Ask for April as your waitress. She knows her stuff! Food came out quickly and drinks stayed full. We will be back often!

We were so happy to have gotten a table at this locals favorite. Thankfully, we brought a local celebrity. The nicest waitstaff. Very attentive. The best food of the week. Get reservations early. I am salivating two weeks later.

Our group of 8 had a wonderful meal, the best seafood that we can recall. We all had separate entries, so I can't give a specific recommendation. But for seafood, all our entries were excellent. Our one steak lover really enjoyed his filet mignon, too. Service was perfect. Expect a crowd.

This was by far one of the most pleasant places my husband and I have ever been too! We came here tonight for our one year anniversary and the food was absolutely phenomenal, Dorothy took amazing care of us and was so polite. The drinks were amazing and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. 10/10 Will definitely be returning!!!

We had an early reservation for a Girls Night Birthday Celebration and we could not have picked a better spot. Long Island Cafe is one of the originals on the Isle of Palms and it continues to be a stand-out among a crowded list of great local restaurants. The calamari, crabcakes and bread pudding were so wonderful. But the highlights of our experience were Tamara, the manager, and Laurie, our server. Tamara made sure that our visit was special with her kindness, generosity and professionalism. She is a leader and an obviously seasoned veteran. And Laurie could not have been more knowledgeable and comfortable with the wine and food choices. Her easy going nature and bright smile made us feel so welcome and at ease that we didn't want to leave. Long Island Cafe and these two expert team members, who made our night, help make this place the perfect balance between up-scale and down home...a real winning combination for us locals looking for consistently great food and a warm environment. We look forward to a return visit very soon!

By far the best service and meal we had in Charleston. The staff were amazing. From the hostess Olivia to our server Lynn that took care of us all night! Thank you for a great evening!

Awesome spot to eat with friends at the beach. The professional staff made us feel like family right away. Fresh bread and appetizers came out quickly. Oysters were delicious! Generous entree portions. Only regret was not ordering the calamari... Next time!

Some of the best seafood we've had in a long time. The broiled scallops, fried flounder and fried shrimp were all delicious. The hush puppies were top notch, although probably not worth the Seven Dollars charged for a dozen or so, especially since at many similar restaurants they are complimentary. We made a reservation and were seated immediately on arrival at the only open table in the otherwise packed room. This is obviously a very popular place.

Six years later, still the best seafood you will ever eat. 🦐🎣

Excellent lunch today at Long Island. Our waitress was wonderful. My husband had the crab burger & I had the lunch portion of the fried shrimp. If we are back in Isle of Palms again we will return!

Came here for Birthday Brunch (4 adults and 3 kids) with an 1130 reservation and we were the second ones in the entire restaurant. Food was delightful and well worth the drive from Summerville! We ordered the Shrimp Po Boy, Wild East Coast Shrimp Plate, Fried Flounder Sandwich, and the Classic Club on top of a few children’s plates for under $100! Portions were great and the food was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend the little spot but make an early reservation!

Don’t let the location of being in a strip next to Harris Teeter deter you from this gem. The food is amazing and the service was excellent! We were a party of 6 and did make reservations. We hit some traffic and were worried we’d be late and called prior to the reservation saying such and it was not a problem at all. They were very pleasant when they answered the phone and assured us they would not give up our reservation. We were greeted with big smiles and sat down immediately (we were only about 5 minutes late). Our server was Nicole and she was wonderful! The bread served is delish! Crunchy on the outside and soft inside. We started with fried calamari and everyone agreed it was one of the best they have ever had. I ordered the Parmesan Salmon and it was excellent. My husband had the stuffed shrimp and it was delicious! We were celebrating birthdays and ordering the Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie and WOW was that amazing! It was a phenomenal dining experience and we can’t wait to return.

I made reservations here to celebrate a family members birthday. We were a party of 8. We were seated promptly by the friendly staff member. We ordered 4 kid's meals, they messed up one, caught it before they even served it to us, and corrected it. Other orders included the red fish special, crab encrusted grouper, shrimp salad, and the trio of fish, scallops, and shrimp. All were delicious. For dessert we ordered the mud pie and peanut butter ice cream pie. Amazing! We were split at the table on which dessert was best.

Service was attentive, friendly, and quick. The place was packed by the time we left. Noise level was high with so many people talking, an older crowd however the kid's in our group loved it.

5pm reservation through Opentable and it was fairly busy throughout dinner. Got the special strawberry daiquiri and the grouper. They good provided bread and butter. Cute vibe inside.

One of the best restaurants in Isle of Palms. The staff is exceptionally nice and the food comes out so fast you can't even blink an eye. It's a small little place nestled in a strip mall somewhat of a hidden gem. It is a bit pricey but on a nice date night it's perfect but I do recommend a reservation it's a very small restaurant and it gets filled up in all seasons.

I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s been great each time. Amazing seafood! The Parmesan encrusted salmon and white cheddar grits are especially tasty.

Update: visited again last night and got the crab encrusted grouper. It was tasty. But, I kept thinking about the salmon. Just get the salmon. You won’t regret it. Also, make a reservation… they stay very busy. The restaurant is pretty loud and seating is very close together. This usually bothers me… but, the food is so good and the service is so attentive, that it’s worth dealing with the noise and people in my personal space.

Great service and really delicious! We had the shrimp & grits, she crab soup (so, so good), tuna sandwich, and mud pie. Chill vibes, big space, no wait, sizable portions. All-around fantastic! Also, some of the best darn sweet potato fries I've had.

We chose the calamari for an appetizer. The light crispy breading was so good! I had the flounder and my husband chose a combo that had the shrimp and fried oysters. He lived the shrimp but the oysters were very small and mostly breading. We would two thumbs up recommend this restaurant. The bus boys rocked and were Johnny on the spot clearing tables. 👌

The best shrimp and grits i have had in a long time. I could have kicked the ate. All my friends raved about their food. Make reservations for brunch in the weekend. It's popular and there was a line when they opened the door.

Casual atmosphere with attentive waitstaff. Locally sourced seafood. The crab stuffed shrimp had a nice balance of crab to cake.
