Where to start. This was our first visit and they have so many different things we will definitely be back. We got two beautiful ribeyes, Gouda Mac and cheese, and potatoes. The man that helped us with steaks also gave us one of their homemade brownies and WOW. They are massive! After dinner we microwaved the brownie and it was phenomenal. It’s perfectly moist and has a perfect balance of crunchy to the soft.

Super cool staff, great selection of meats and wines! Loved popping into this spot, would recommend to anyone in the area looking to create a great meal .

Need a last minute meal for 5-40 people? This is definitely the place to go. Generous pre-made meal trays for groups, premium meat for the grill (especially the bacon burgers they have on the weekends), and really great customer service. Made our family meal planning easy during our visit to the island.

Fabulous selection of different cuts of meat and delicious prepared meals, particularly the Italian dishes which are quick, easy, and quite reasonably priced. Everything they do is excellent!

Not only is the quality and selection of meats amazing (truly steak-house quality at reasonable prices), but the large selection of wine, salads, and sides, is the perfect combo to prepare a remarkable meal. The topper is their personal, caring service - I called right at closing and they were happy to prepare my items and stayed open a few minutes late for me to arrive. Our go-to place every time we are on the island.

Great service and attention to detail. We ordered filets and some house made sausage and we were delighted by the quality! Highly recommend this joint!

We met David Silver, GM at New York Butcher Shoppe, maybe 10 minutes after my family arrived at Isle of Palms. After a long drive and some hungry family members we were ready for some dinner! David helped us straight away and got us set up with baby back ribs, chicken wings, twice baked potatoes, smoked vegetables and a few other items. Everything was already cooked so all we had to do was heat it up. Everything was delicious! They also have an amazing selection of steaks and other food items available. Everyone working there was super friendly. What a great way to start our vacation. We'll be back before we go home. Thank you to David and the team.

Excellent meat, ready made dishes and sides with wonderful wine selections. Order early for your Christmas prime rib. Don’t forget the gourmet doggy chew sticks❣❣❣

I don’t know what kind of secret ingredient they add to their Big BBQ sandwich but its amazing! I work on isle of palms and every time I get the lunch deal it’s perfect! Three other things I’d like to say about these guys—awesome service (guys there are hilarious), a great selection of local beers and meats, and a lot of kitchen prepped side dishes like beef stew, salads, and Mac ‘n’ cheese to go with your steak. Place is Great!

Kudos to David for being both decisive and proactive on Thursday during a “sizzling hot” Wine Club! It was so nice to be prepared and we enjoyed amazing food and delicious wine - as always! Thanks for being honest and letting US prepare. As you know, that is key during every Hurricane season! We’ll definitely see you next month, but more likely next week for a yummy BBQ sandwich!!!

After hearing rave reviews from friends about The Butcher Shoppe we ordered several items including the lasagne, barbecue chicken, filet burgers, broccoli cheddar casserole, etc.
Our initial expectation, since butcher’s in the name, was that the burgers and chicken would be the great, and they didn’t disappoint. That said, we were also very impressed and frankly surprised by the quality of the lasagne and broccoli cheddar dish. Both were delicious! Definitely looking forward to going back to try the choice meats on the menu.
By the way, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the Chocolate Lava Cake, which too was amazing and the perfect finish to an excellent meal.

The most intentional, talented and kind staff. Our family was visiting on vacation & ended up with the BEST steaks and sausages we’ve ever had in our entire life. My first google review because they are so incredibly deserving. GO!

Spectacular meat market with great people working exceptionally hard to please every customer. This is my "go to" place for special dinners because I can get Prime beef, which is hard to find these days. I used to work in a meat market with my dad, and the New York Butcher Shop brings back wonderful memories of those days. All their offerings are top quality, so you cannot go wrong here.

Amazing sandwiches, would suggest calling ahead if in a hurry since wait can be on the longer side. Otherwise you can spend your waiting time checking out their wine selection, cuts, freezer meals, refrigerated foods, and their local selection of odds and ends. Cool place with a lot of added bonuses.

I have been around the globe, and no one, no place or nobody, has the type of service and products that these gentlemen have. From the typical bone in ribeye to the lesser know dry age meats, The NY Butcher has it all. Staff is nothing short of amazing, always friendly, funny, and accommodating. With great wine tastings and knowledge, you just cant go wrong.

Such a wonderful shop! Dave and his team are always helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly! The food is always amazing no matter what we buy. We appreciate all they do especially during these unusual times. They make shopping here fun! Highly recommend!!!

Ordered a small turkey for Thanksgiving at the last minute; it was the best turkey in the past 20 yrs! Wonderful service, cheerful staff, champagne and home-made pimento cheese dip while I waited!

One of our go tos when coming into town for vacation. Lots of great prepared meals that you can throw into oven when you don’t feel like cooking. Highly recommend!

Dave and all the guys at the butcher shop are top notch. Always ready to chat and answer questions about ways to cook the different things they offer. I’ve been going here for years and they’ve never let me down!
