We just had our home vinyl siding replaced with James Hardie colored siding by Lowcountry Contractors and it looks incredible. We never imagined that our house could look so good. The crews did a great job and kept everything clean throughout the project which was important to us and our furbabies. We appreciated the constant communication from our salesperson and their office staff. We highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do a remodeling project!

Professional and knowledgeable in every area. Exceeded expectations and provided top quality work and supervision.
Informed us of progress during every step of the extensive renovation and followed up after completion of work.
Exceptionally easy to work with and extremely receptive to ideas and suggestions.

Low Country Contractors is a well established, comprehensive residential housing contractor with a service area in costal SC.
We appreciated the quality and value, experience and knowledge, tackling a difficult total home renovation.
Mostly, there was a professional but engaging interaction.
Despite a challenging environment for contractors, we have the ultimate confidence in Jeremy and his crew to complete this project despite extensive water and unexpected termite damage.
Yes, there have been serious delays (now two years in) caused by supply chain issues, new technology, and lack of qualified technicians/managers (4 project managers come and gone--one really bad apple).
Jeremy has personally taken control of the project and will "make it right".

DO NOT USE Lowcountry Contractors! Jeremy Blackstock, in my opinion, is a criminal. I was ripped off to the tune of $175,000. They had multiple project managers who would quit shortly after working for them. Two subcontractors who both complained to us that Jeremy owed them a lot of money. They were only able to complete about 60% of the job, yet I paid the full amount. Jeremy is a liar. He will look you in the eye, shake your hand, and then literally not do what he promised he would do. There are many other reviews like mine, which is sad to see.

Stay far away from this company! Please believe every negative review written. We hired them at the beginning of 2022 to complete a kitchen renovation at our home. Gave them a large deposit. Very impressed with initial plans. A year passed they kept telling us they were backed up. We went through countless designers no one communicated with us, countless unanswered calls and emails. We received word from some of the initial vendors they will not be moving forward with working with Lowcountry Contractors as they not received payment from them. Finally after threatening lawsuits we start getting responses and they gut the kitchen in August of 2023. They got the floors refinished and cabinets are started. They are no longer answering phone calls, emails etc. He has stolen a large amount of money from us and here we are December of 2023 almost 2 years later without any usable kitchen. I find it amusing how Mr. Blackstock can respond to all of these less than favorable reviews regarding his business practices but cannot return an email or a phone call to his customers. I am going to sue him and we are going to go after his contractors license and report him to the LLR so he cannot defraud any more families like we have been. Merry Christmas!

BUYER BEWARE!! I own a local warehouse direct cabinet business and have had a deeply unsettling experience with Jeremy and his team at Low Country Contractors.

Low Country Contractors entered into an agreement to purchase cabinets from my company in June, and these cabinets were subsequently installed in their client's residence. Regrettably, despite their client fulfilling their payment obligation to Low Country Contractors, my company has not received payment as agreed upon.

Our business operates on a smaller scale, and we have earnestly conveyed to Low Country the severe financial impact this non-payment has had on us. Regrettably, despite our appeals, they have yet to pay for the cabinets in full.

It is of utmost importance to clarify that there have been no reported issues with the quality or condition of the cabinets supplied and we stand by the quality of our products 100%.

I strongly urge any individual or business contemplating a contract with Low Country Contractors to conduct thorough background checks, seek references, and consider the risks involved in any financial dealings with this organization.

I would never work with this company again. I signed a contract with LowCountry Contractors on January 6th, 2023 to renovate our laundry room. The architectural designs were excellent and we eagerly agreed to progress forward. We then received a payment request for around $7,000 dollars. Since we paid, we have received NO products or services. We have had three different project managers, each not responding for periods of time or telling me various sob stories. I have taken numerous screen captures of text messages substantiating this. Each project manager has “resigned” from the company and I’m now waiting on the owner to contact me (after 8 failed attempts to call/ text the owner from me). In total it has been 11 months with us receiving no products or services. Legal action is now being taken.

We hired Low Country Contractors in early 2022 to remodel the first floor of our home. We enjoyed working with their team to redesign our home and were excited as the project got underway. By August of 2022 the majority of our project had been completed except for some final clean up items and the installation of our front door. There were delays getting our new front door delivered so the plan was to address all of our final clean up items when the door was to be installed. Our front door arrived to the local supplier in November of 2022. Since that time we have been unable to schedule anyone to complete our project. We have been handed off to three different project managers and have been continually scheduled and rescheduled for more than 7 months. We have called, texted and emailed various members of the Low Country team countless times to no avail. The team has either been unresponsive or makes promises to ‘make things right’ yet still nobody has shown up at our house to complete the remaining items. Most recently we have decided to hire a new company to complete our project at our own expense. I communicated this decision to two members of their team to which I received no response which speaks to their lack of concern for our project. We have found the disregard of our project to be both disrespectful and unacceptable and unfortunately now we are having to double pay for a non trivial amount of work. Low Country Contractors has failed to live up to the expectations promised to us at the start of this project and for that I would not recommend working with their team.

We hired Low Country Contractors (LCC) to do a TOTAL renovation of our home in September 2021. It took more than twice as long as they told us and it was never quite finished. The entire process was a nightmare. We agree with every negative review of LCC that we have read in various places. To make it short and sweet, this was our experience:

> Communication was non-existent.
> Craftsmanship was poor. Things had to be done multiple times and they didn't seem to care whether or not it was done well.
> Promises were made and never kept.
> Multiple vendors told us that they were not paid on time or at all by LCC, adversely impacting our project.
> LCC management was disrespectful in their interaction with us.
> They were dishonest and unprofessional throughout the project.
> The things that LCC DID excel at were lying and making excuses.

We eventually cut ties with them even though the renovation was never really finished. Our advice... Do not go near them with a 10-foot pole. FYI... The glowing testimonial video on the company's website features members of the owner's family. BUYER BEWARE!

Non - responsive, not truthful and very unprofessional. They walked away from our porch project. A window is missing, the door is the wrong size and the permit expired in Mar 2023. Framing, HVAC and electrical not finished. Exterior siding and interior trim work not even started. They, did, however, send a final “ pay in full” invoice! When they do manage to return a phone call or email they make promises they never keep. BBB has downgraded them to an “F” rating. Steer clear of this company.

They used our company, a local family owed business. We completed our work in August of 2022 and still have not been paid in full. Spoke with the one of the owners, 3 different office people, a sales representative, and they're saying that they do not have the money to pay us for our work. Our business did great work for them and should have been paid as they got paid from the homeowners. They are taking deposits from new jobs to pay staff and bills to keep their business running, but are ghosting those who are doing business for them. Buyer beware!!
