To get the most out of any doctor encounter, always write down your questions, new or changing issues, and bring your medicine with you. If you have decided to start something new, bring that to ask about taking it and don't argue if a doctor gives you an answer you don't like...you are there to get his medical opinion not your views. I attend these appointments with an elderly person and see the mistakes that are made in their care from both directions.
Doctors can't help you if you can't be honest. And they will missprescribe things if they don't know what you take at home or your response history to certain medicines. Please be advocates for your own health. Ask about your medicines and your visits! And don't worry about speaking up for yourself.
PS. Dr Hollins is a very understanding and kind cardiologist who will listen to your concerns and treat you well.

I waited for over an hour in the examine room before being seen not the first time either.

Would not recommend this doctor you sit for an hour waiting after scheduled appointment then he basically does nothing. To get your medication refilled is a complete nightmare.

Has the worse bedside manner in a Dr I have ever experienced!!! If he was the last heart Dr in SC I move to NC !!!!
