Ladles Soups James Island

I went to Ladles for lunch on James Island.I had a Shecrab soup and a turkey griller sandwich.I was so savory and filling.The service was great the environment was kind great.But being that it was lunch it was extremely busy and no place to seat.I had to take my lunch to go. AGAIN TRY TRY TRY LADLES WONT DISAPPOINT.THE FOOD WAS GREAT!

I ate Greek lemon chicken soup and strawberry mozzarella salad on this my second time here. I think the the staff is terrific at helping customer make informed healthy choices, the prices are low, and the food is spectacular!
Hot weather and delicious warm soup in an air conditioned setting with a cold salad. Heaven on earth today! I recommend this location near Folly Beach, Janes Island. They have a pick up window if you order out.

We love their great soup selections. I had the turkey chili that was nice and spicy and great flavor. The salads are large and filling. Bathrooms were clean, which is a good indication to how clean the kitchen is. We will be back.

I love their Lemon Greek chicken soup. Lunch time is always busy, however you can call ahead and pickup at the window or inside. I use their loyalty program to gather points towards discounted meals. They offer a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches.

This place is awesome! We each tried 3 different flavors of soup and they were all very delicious. Plus everyone else's plates of sandwhiches all looked amazing. My very picky child loved their delicious cheeseburger. At the end of the night as they were closing down...instead of throwing out the leftover soup they offered 2 extra bowls to us patrons complimentary. We are definitely coming back to try the sandwhiches and salads next! The bathrooms were clean, the restaurant was clean and welcoming and the prices were very reasonable. My favorite restaurant in Charleston!

I first visited Ladles after receiving a kidney transplant in May of 2020. They were actually on a list of places that the Transplant Team approved for post transplant patients, so I figured...what the heck, we will try it. Well I am so glad we did. From the moment we dined, Ladles has become one of my all-time favorite places in Charleston. Each time we are in town we head there for some of the best soup/sandwiches we have had. Right now my favorite is the Club with turkey chili. They offer multiple portion option. The soup is always fresh, flavorful, and piping hot. They service is wonderful as well. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Great place to dine!

I had the grilled cheese sandwich with potato soup. The soup was delicious. The sandwich was average. Could use more cheese in my opinion.

Very home like atmosphere, friendly employees and a great selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches. I ordered their "Insane Burger". It was insanely delicious and an insane size. It was a good value for the money. It was my 1st time there. I was very impressed! I will have to go back again to try all of their soups!

Cute little place and friendly staff. My husband and I were meeting his dad and uncle at the legion and we needed someplace to grab a quick bite at. We stopped in here for a sandwich. We talked to the gentleman at the counter and said we needed something vegan and he suggested this wonderful sandwich. He was kinda and patient as we discussed the sandwich to make sure it was correct. I forgot the name of it but instead of cream cheese on the bread they put a balsamic drizzle on it and it was delicious.

Fantastic for lunch and dinner! Their Chicken Noodle is my absolute favorite, but I wish they’d do Thai Coconut Chicken more! 😋 Great options for Vegan and Gluten free friends too!

Soup is so delicious and lots of choices. I usually get it to go, but eating there is fine too. It's a simple and clean restaurant, and staff is very helpful when needed. Price is very reasonable. They have sandwiches too. Def recommend trying them!

This little store in a strip mall had more character than any place we've been in the area. Run by lively and lovely ladies with an extra dose of personality, we were chatting away, both in line with the regulars, and with the staff.

I had the grilled fruit salad and tomato basil soup. My wife had the she crab soup and a greek salad.

The food came fast, the soup was hot, the salads were crisp, and everything was made with choice ingredients, and with great care.

Met the owner, a sister of the original founder. The chef makes the soups daily.

I was thoroughly impressed with Ladles. Great service, amazing food, good prices, clean restrooms, and a cool atmosphere.
They simply do what they advertise with excellence. I really don't know how they could improve. If you want soups, salads or sammiches, you won't go wrong here.

I tried Ladles for the very first time here about a month ago, ordering a chef's salad and half an American grilled cheese. I ordered over the phone and picked up within 10 minutes. I've since ordered a Turkey Bacon Griller and a Club Sandwich and everything is delicious! The bacon on the sandwiches was fresh, but the bacon on one of my salads was older, probably the leftover bits and pcs from the day before. I love bacon but you can taste a definite difference when its been sitting in a container in the fridge. Still, I absolutely love this place and will continue to spend my money here, not only for the delicious food, but also for the amazing customer service!!! Bc, let's be honest folks, when u find an establishment that has BOTH, you've struck culinary gold! Will add pics soon 😊

Best chicken noodle I've ever had in my life! Nothing fancy, just simple, fresh and delicious comforting soup. I only wish I had a labels back home. Thank you ladles, so much!

I love their soups. I've only had the rest of the menu a couple of times. The menu online doesn't include their soup of the day, daily special, or in store special.
This is a great place to go for great food!
