Philly Special

Hands down the BEST hot sandwich I've had in a long time! The Broad street Bully, this is a great deal for the amount of filling it comes with, it can definitely feed two. The traditional Philly was really good as well. I love finding gems like this! Judy the cashier made the recommendations and trust I'm happy I asked, thank you Judy!!

I heard great things about this place so I came here for lunch today with my mom and the food SLAPPED and the sweet tea is amazing! We both got the Screaming Eagle; my mom got plain fries and I got the cheddar bacon ranch fries. Absolutely delicious. The lady at the counter was very sweet! Can’t ask for more at a restaurant than to have good food and good service and Philly Special excels in both! We’ll be back, can’t wait to try the other cheesesteaks and different types of frites!

This is the best Philly cheese steak I’ve tasted in Orangeburg (or ever). And I didn’t expect the fries to be so tasty and crispy. I couldn’t finish my screaming eagle because I was full from eating all my frites.

If you’re lucky enough to be in the area, I highly recommend you check this Gem out!!

Made a detour off the interstate and wound up here for lunch and I’m glad we did. The Philly was excellent, the fries were that perfect mix of crispy and soft, and the service was very friendly. Will be back next time I’m in Orangeburg

Drove over two hours for this spot and it was the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had in my LIFE. I’ve had Philly cheesesteaks in Philly and they weren’t even close to being as good as “Philly Special” is!! You have to go here!! Mama Judy will hook you up!! Can’t wait to go back!

My brother has been bragging to me for months about Philly Special! It's so close to Hwy 26 that there's no reason not to go. We made the trip today from West Columbia with some friends in the rain. This food is well worth the drive, but if you're anywhere near Orangeburg, you MUST make a pit stop. Our meals today were perfect.

Okay .50 wings on Friday's I will be back best in town for sure . Friendly people ,service and atmosphere. Don't mind the bones 😂

Came down for the day and had the opportunity to try this place out and I’m so glad I did. INCREDIBLE service, the kindest staff I have ever met and oh my god the food is so good. Definitely one of the top Philly steaks I’ve had. Definitely go here! You will not be disappointed, their wings are also amazing, juicy tenders and fresh 🤩🤩🤩

Quaint little spot in middle of a small shopping center. Small seating area for dine-in. They also offer carryout, call-ins, etc. Food is fantastic, service was top notch and wait was minimal. Glad we found it! Great Philly Cheesesteak and Great Cheese/Bacon/Ranch fries too!

Veteran owned business. I love this place! Outstanding cheese steaks, and the wings are phenomenal! I saw other orders being cooked and am already planning my next visit. Service was exemplary, staff made sure I got the best deal possible after placing my order. The food is worth stopping for on it's own, but the restaurant has a good atmosphere and would be a great place to have a bite and watch the game. Catering is available, and they have a discount for your first online order. They even have an app to make it super easy!

What a great place that keeps getting better! I love the family dynamics of the staff and the friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home! The food is spectacular! Stop by on your way through Orangeburg or make a special trip. You won’t regret it. Try the new desserts too!

Authentic and delicious Philly cheesesteak and if you want to, you can switch it up and add a lil razzle dazzle to it! I love the “Mama” at the front counter, she is direct, a lil sassy (in a good way), and she will make sure your order is right! This is restaurant is in a college town and they have specials and discounts for the students.. just ask before ordering. This is my go to spot when I pick up my daughter or take her back to school.

Great place! Real hospitality Mama…….., I’ve forgotten but I still love her, the owner and family I believe. Yummy menu, lunch we got chicken Philly that had lots of veggies! Delish!

I am so excited that I finally found a real philly cheese!!! The food was delicious and very generous portions. The staff was very friendly as well. I live in Charleston and will definitely be making frequent trips to get my fix!!!!

Was walking by and seen this is a veteran owned business and decided to give it a try, I went big and tried the broad street bully. This thing was great but my eyes were bigger then my stomach. Still don't regret it. Has a Philadelphia atmosphere and talked with the owner who was equally as pleasant to talk to. Highly recommend to try this place.

This place never disappoints! We don’t live in the area but make a point to stop here anytime we are heading to the beach since it’s in the way. The Screaming Eagle is delicious. So much great flavor! Bread is always fresh. And the fries….wow! My husband and daughter both don’t care for fries but ended up eating these because they were so delicious. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The service is always above and beyond too. This is a place that is definitely worth the trip!
