Okay so I came to this amazing place on the 26th of September. I was desperate, sick of using ( opiates, fentanyl were my DOC) I was just done, did not want to use anymore. So I found this place and from the very moment I called them to the moment they seen me off to my next facility I felt the love from these people. Y'all I am telling you from the people who answer the phones all the way to the cleaning lady (Mrs T. Croft I love you girl! I found an AMAZING church and a sponsor already I carry that bible YOU GAVE ME everyday!) these people care! They even came all the way to North Augusta South Carolina to PICK ME UP! They loved me when I couldn't love myself, full of shame and guilt, anger, sadness, unworthiness I was just barley hanging on. But these wonderful Godsent people showed me compassion, love, and concern. I also checked the reviews before I got there and I kept seeing people saying " this place saved my life" numerous times in different reviews. Well I am very proud and honored to say that I got EXACTLY that. I highly recommend Waypoint Recovery Center to ANYONE sick and suffering from this disease of addiction. You will learn so much about addiction and yourself which is very very important. If you give this place your all, an I mean you got to put some effort too it's not a magic genie that just heals you, but the love and mercy and STRENGTH GOD or (higher power) gives you when your ready you will see some light at the end of your tunnel. I can't speak for everyone but I can speak for me and this place works if you work it! They have a really cool app to stay connected once you finish the program. Staying connected is a HUGE part of recovery y'all, you will learn that. The counselors are amazing and believe it or not a lot of the workers have their OWN beautiful story and can really relate to you. That right there speaks volumes especially to the addict. The nursing staff is truly amazing once they read this they will know exactly who I am talking about lol but they truly treat you like a person not a number or a paycheck, these people 110% care and love you. The BHAs are another set of truly amazing people. I could go on and on y'all but special shout outs to Mrs Candy, Mrs Brandy, Mrs Tish, Mr Scott, Mr Lane, Mr Jared, Mrs Stephanie, Mrs Mandy, Mrs Alecia, Mrs Delphine, Mrs Taylor, Mrs KeKe, Mrs Kennedy, Mrs Shae, Mrs Tara, Mr D (BHA), Mr Tripp, Mr Elliot and both Matt's! y'all the list goes on an on for the ones I did not mention I love each of yall and want to thank yall for EVERYTHING. 5 stars!! this place is AMAZING!

September 24, 2023 I checked myself in to waypoint because I had an alcohol problem. I was very skeptical of how this place was and what to expect.the 30 days I signed up for. It was the best thing that I could’ve ever done. The staff, the nurses, the RA‘s. Everyone had open arms to me to help me with recovery. They needed to make my stay comforting and they did.I have now graduated and have been out a week and a half and I am following the steps in the AA 12 step program and I’ve gotten a sponsor like they preached to me that this is what you need to learn so that you don’t go back to the life that you left. It is working and I and my family thank all of waypoint staff for showing me this.
Sincerely
Louis Zunino

This place saved my life. The staff is top notch and were such a saving grace. I met some amazing women who were such an inspiration. I would recommend this place to anyone who was lost and felt hopeless. They are not just a treatment center they are caring and helpful to navigate the rocky road of addiction.

waypoint is one of the true things that saved my life! the staff and the community are absolutely wonderful. i came to waypoint broken and i was met with loving and comforting arms there. the coordinators stay connected with you even when you are done with the program! they are interested and they care. i’ve created a great community of people from waypoint alumni and it’s given me hope when i’ve had none at times. the environment is serene and calming. the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are nice and clean. I learned so much about myself, my addiction, and so much more from individual therapy, group therapy, meditation, listening to others in recovery, and the activities we were able to do. i have been to multiple rehabs and waypoint is by far the best one. the staff truly do all they can to make you feel comfortable, safe, and heard. Candy and Robert Harris, have made a huge impact on my life and I’m forever thankful for my time there.

I was a broken down mess upon entering Waypoint. Didn’t know which direction my life was headed and couldn’t pinpoint my relapses. Waypoint showed me something about myself I have never realized an also couldn’t accept. But now I understand and am happily sober. Through out my 37 days I was treated with respect and dignity by the entire staff. I couldn’t have ask for any better treatment. Thanks to all.

Being my second treatment center in a month, my expectations were beyond low. Detox was a struggle but the nurses there checked in often and as long as I voiced my needs they were met. Same with moving into residential, the more I advocated for myself the more staff were aware of my needs and went beyond to meet them. I was comfortable as you can be coming off years of substance abuse. To this day I have the upmost respect for many of the staff (Kristen Lane Scott and Brandy deserve the biggest shout outs) a year after leaving successfully completing 37 days at Waypoint I still have contact and support of many staff there from nurses to counselors to admissions and RAs. Waypoint helped me realize I was worth living and I will never be able to repay them for that.

I came into Waypoint lost, hopeless and completely consumed by my addiction. I was definitely hesitant about the idea of going to rehab, but with the support and guidance from their staff and my fellow peers, I began to find myself again. With the variety of classes, group sessions, counselor one-on-ones and the wide range of activities to do in your free time, I almost didn't want to leave. But when it was time for me to leave, they made sure I had all the tools/resources waiting for me on the outside, so that I could continue my sobriety. And while all of the counselors are amazing, I was blessed to have Lane as mine. Throughout the entire process, he was consistently honest and up front with me. He always demonstrated passion for his work and helping me with my sobriety. Not once, did I ever think that man was just here for the paycheck. I thank Waypoint for giving me my life back. If you're someone who might be battling with addiction, I highly recommend you give Waypoint a call.

Waypoint truly saved my life. I was there in January of 2022 and went in with an attitude of not wanting to be there. The staff was so encouraging and positive from the moment I walked in that it changed my entire mindset. Kristen, Lane, Brandy, Scott, Nurse Penny, Mrs. Wanda, Jeff, Mrs. Nanette, Adrian, Maverick, Mr. Lenny and every other staff member I encountered (I wish I was better at remembering names bc the people I’m forgetting were wonderful as well) were kind, caring and compassionate. I absolutely loved my time there and it’s like anything else, you’ll get out of it what you put in. The food wasn’t that great but I gained 10-15 lbs while
I was there so it couldn’t have been that bad. If you or a loved one is struggling, give this beautiful, peaceful place a chance to help you.

Waypoint saved my life. Extreme appreciation to Jared, Lane, Ginger, Robert Harris (inpatient residential) and Michele Richey (outpatient intensive). Thank you for weathering the storm with me and now riding the wave to shore.

I did want to let prospective clients that we have a new caterer on board, and the food, which has some negative reviews in the past is considerably better now! We also have pizza nights, plenty of healthy snacks always available too. We have a cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs every Friday at lunch w/ all the fixins!
I am the Alumni Coordinator and spent 35 days as a resident and 3 months in Outpatient.

Waypoint was an amazing place to go and focus on myself. The staff there really wants everyone to be successful and I learned a lot of great tools to use on my journey. It’s also a beautiful place both outdoors and indoors. I highly recommend Waypoint for anyone trying to get sober!

Waypoint was life saving. A great staff when I was there March 2021. Positive and listened to clients for suggestions and needs. Both detox and rehab are exceptional with beautiful facility. Always looking for ways to improve. Highly recommend. Just know the food needed some attention at that time.

Waypoint saved my life. I learned how to control my cravings, build a life long bond within our community, trust the advice of my councelor, listen to others tell their stories so I didn't feel alone, learn coping skills from trauma, meditate and was given the opportunity to retrain my brain on how to depend on the 12 steps of recovery. Thank you waypoint. I now come back as an alumni to help others see the program works if you work it!

I went to Waypoint almost 2 years ago. I had never been to a rehab facility. I had addictions to opioids and alcohol. It was a great eye opening experience. I would recommend Waypoint to anyone needing to go to a rehab. I still keep up with many people I met there.

Waypoint recovery center is an amazing place with an amazing staff. They help me so much and what I love is they care and the groups are extremely informative and based on the 12 steps. 12 steps are truly the part of recovery that keeps us sober after treatment so getting to learn about them there is extremely relevant and important. I continue to stay involved they have a wonderful alumni program and I would recommend waypoint to anybody who needs help.

I was part of one of the first few groups to go to Waypoint. I had been struggling for years and WP was the first long term rehab I attended. I couldn't have gotten to where I'm at without them. I owe my life to Chrystal (Chrystal Light), Miss Jackie, Orin, Jonas, Sheri, "Jersey" Jeff and the to rest of the staff and most importantly God as I understand Him. Thank you all! 💪💪🙏🙏

I came to WP February of 2020 and it was hands down the best experience I could have asked for. Everyone there helped pick me back up from the nurses all the way to the groundskeeper. I’m thankful to WP for giving me my life back!!
