Martin's Waffles and Wings

What a great place to stop by for delicious breakfast! We were visiting South Carolina and had just wrapped up a tour at the local college. We were starving and wanted to eat southern comfort food. We saw Martin’s Waffles pop up and decided to check it out. At first, we had difficulty finding the location but we managed to figure it out after circling the building a few times. The location is small and offers indoor seating, it’s a family business and the family works there as well. A very clean and welcoming environment! We all ordered a variation of the French toast with either fried chicken breast or pork chop. The menu is diverse and offers you different ways of combining items. The food was very fresh and hot, well-seasoned, juicy and flavorful. TJ was very helpful with giving us recommendations and welcoming us to the restaurant, engaging in conversation with us. If we lived in South Carolina, this would definitely be one of our go-to spots!

It was OK. From the reviews I read I expected something totally different. The cashier was nice but was on her phone when we walked in and the tables was dirty but other than that it was OK.

This is a great local spot to get brunch... I've eaten from here several times and they never disappoint. Today was no different. Keep it up guys!

One of the best if not the place to get something to eat when in town and I luv the variety of choices

I am a foodie. Just passing through to visit my college student and I was blown away by the tender, juicy, crispy on the outside fried wings, tender baked pork chops, cajun shrimp 'n grits, and red velvet pancakes. Even the loaded mash potato with thick crisp bacon and Real cheede was amazing. You can tell they marinate their meats resulting in tenderness and flavor throughout. Everything was seasoned very well, and I had plenty of leftovers. Yes, you guessed right. I ordered all of that just for me. Then ordered a dozen more wings once I was full. Did I mention I am a foodie! Hence, my standards are high and my taste buds are not forgiving.. Only thing I would ask for different for my own personal taste is less gravy with my CAJUN shrimp 'n grits. Personal preference because I don't favor spicy food. My daughter and hubby loved it just the way it is! And the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The server/cashier was truly 5 star. She was so kind, full of smiles, Highly professional, and repeatedly expressed her gratitude in our enjoyment. Limited dining due to Covid, so our table of 4 was the only ones dining in. Everyone else were call in/to go orders. I was pleased to witness the number of orders being filled. That's always a good sign. And this is not as fast-food establishment. It's cooked to order. Martin's, thank you for a memorable experience and continued blessings and much success. Next time I am in town. I will surely be back for more!

Just left the track and headed back to Georgetown. Searched for a spot, checked out the reviews and it lead us here. The chicken was just right omg seasoned perfectly, and the crunch omg!!! The red velvet waffle was amazing as well. We'll be back.

Haven’t tried the shrimp and grits, not the salmon croquettes but I heard they were amazingly delicious.

Everything was delicious, hot and fresh! I had the red velvet waffle combo and the eggs and grits were nicely seasoned. We will definitely be back!
