This year was the first time I had to file a corporation tax return. It was nerve racking but Carolyn walked us through it. It took awhile to get everything in place for everyone is busy but we got it done!

Yes, if you're looking for someone to just do taxes and not for a business, go for it, but as for a CPA and taking care of her clients, find someone that will advise their clients on how to keep from paying too much.
As a small business owner, she should have suggested we become an LLC when we first met her. We did not know that. Taxes are not our field which is why she was hired.
Communication with her is awful. For the last 3 years, although I had my taxes in on time, she filed an extension.
I finally found another CPA and asked for a flash drive of how they were listing our accounts and she just shut off all communication.
She will put the blame on you and not take responsibility for her lack of communication with her clients.
Now that I find out how much she has cost us, I am livid.
Run, don't walk away from using her for your business.

We have been with Carolyn Sexton for about 6 years now since they were in Universal City. The service was great until the original owner passed away and they moved to New Braunfels. After the move, the service started to slowly decline. We always turned in our papers a few months early and they would always have our papers ready in April.

This year was the worst. They didn't bother to send us the pre-file paperwork that they usually sent; we had to call them and request it. We turned in our paperwork back in late Feb and they still haven't finished our packet. We also had a particular filing question that we needed their advice on. Not only did they not tell us what information we needed to provide, they tried to blame us for not providing them all the information they needed.

They were rude on the phone and terrible with customer service. Now, I'm worried that they might do shoddy work on our tax papers and either not get us our full refund, or cause us to get audited. For this kind of concern, we could have done the work ourselves.

On 21 APRIL, she told me she would NOT sign our tax paperwork at all! Now we're screwed and have to scramble for an alternative for this year.

DO NOT use their services.

I would like to have given her no stars this place is a joke they are rude unresponsive and I should have read reviews my lawyer recommended them but as the others reviews have stated they are correct on this place needs to be shut down
