A tragic story but a beautiful monument. I learned about this massacre years ago and finally got the chance to visit the site. It’s sad to see that people have littered everywhere and shot up signs and one of the Monument stones. More respect should be given in such a somber place.

Cool place to visit, although it is not cool at all what happened here in 1838.

Tragic history... But beautiful and peaceful resting place... Now if the idiots who come here to vandalize and shoot guns and do whatever they want here would quit!!

I've lived near it for a few years and had no idea what it was. It's a little hard to find with out GPS but it's pretty cool. The story is really tragic too.

Wonderful place - to bad people had to litter & disrespect it. Still very sobering to see the monument.
