A fee weeks ago I was traveling from San Antonio, TX to South Padre Island. After a wonderful trip, on the way home, my car began to run hot. I immediately called for a tow truck through my insurance and began looking up Mechanics near me. I came across Edwins's and saw all the awesome reviews. I called the shop, though I knew it was closed, and to my surprise Edwin answered the phone. I asked if I could get my car towed to the shop and he told me exactly where to park when I arrived... this was around 6:30 pm. Closer to 8:30 pm there was a miscommunication with the tow truck so my insurance had to send out a brand new tow truck that would take 2 more hours while I was stranded on highway 281/37. I called Edwin again and asked if he recommended a tow company. He text me the number to a local tow truck and they were there in less than an hour. They towed my car to Edwin's by 10:00pm and he stayed there the entire time and waited for me. My parents came to pick me up in Pleasanton and the next day when he called to tell me what was wrong with the car, he also offered to call my dad and tell him. My dad felt like Edwin was honest and agreed to have the work done with him. The car was ready later that day and Edwin even gave us a discount on the labor. The prices were VERY fair and my car has been running perfectly! I highly recommend this mechanic!

Edwin is an awesome guy! He took care of me above and beyond what a "big" shop would. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I previously did a review for Edwin and somehow I hit 3 stars instead of 5. I’m new at doing reviews so bear with me. Im trying to edit my review but I just don’t know how , so I have to say that he gets a 5 star review from me. He did a GREAT JOB!! And my truck runs better than the day I bought it used. It’s at 225 k miles and I feel confident it will go many more after taking it to Edwin’s repair shop.

Loved working with Edwin! After he fixed one problem on our car he found another problem that he was unable to repair at the because he was to busy.
So he helped get our car into the dealers repair shop sooner than we could then towed it over there for us.
I believe him to be an honest hard working man and will absolutely use him again.

Edwin has done repairs on my mom's RV twice. He was fast, efficient & very reasonable on price. So when I had issues with my truck I decided to go to him. He fixed my truck with 2 different issues in less than 24 hours. He was very quick was the work. I would strongly recommend him. Thank you sir!

We broke down on our way home from Port Aransas heading to Horseshoe Bay. Edwin and his crew took such great care of us and got us back on the road. So kind, courteous and efficient. Would highly recommend them. We were so thankful that we found them. Thank you so much Edwin and crew!!!!

Just moved to town, and still trying to establish all of my "go to" places. Thankfully, I've now found my auto repair shop!

Friday night we had an issue with one of our vehicles- husband accidentally drove it in 4WD for way longer/at a higher speed than what it should have been driven after a long night of work. Called Edwin Saturday morning, and he advised I could drop it off. I was a little confused about his location, because the shop is in a neighborhood, but Edwin told me to look for the yellow flag by the basketball hoop and I was able to find it right away.

Edwin dropped my 2 year old and I off at home, and said he'd get back to us in a few hours. The truck needed a minor fix, which he was able to do right away, and because my husband was asleep and needed the truck for Saturday night, he dropped the truck off for us when he was done! Wow! I can't tell you how thankful I was for that, because it's tough changing out car seats and finding rides with my 2 year old, and not disrupting his nap, etc. Super mom friendly!

Edwin is very nice, and I enjoyed hearing about his family. I trust him to take care of any of our future vehicle needs. I don't know anything about repair pricing, but it seemed fair to me and my husband was pleased. Thank you Edwin!

The other day I was driving along and all of a sudden the air conditioning in my car cut off and I looked down and the engine was overheating. I pulled over at once and turned the car off. I called for a tow truck and I remembered that Edwin's shop was highly recommended on Google. I asked the tow driver to take my car to edwins shop. Boy am I glad I did! He is just the best. My belt tightener pully broke. Edwin fixed my car right up and even cleaned the air conditioner to make it work better.
We will be getting all of my future car and truck repair business.
