Don't matter what time of day you go there chicken alway good and there fish is so darn good.

I used to go to the store many times and the service and food is good including the atmosphere.

The food I ordered was great even the mac n cheese, which really surprised me. They were out of a lot of things. Although, I can see why, they always have a line. I think Elgin needs 2 Golden Chick's...problem solved then there will be enough for everyone.

Uber eats. My food was fast and hot. Couldn't touch it, was so hot.

No complaints here.

Golden chick is one of my absolute favorite go-tos! I have a pretty sensitive stomach so sometimes all I can eat is soft foods such as mashed potatoes. Golden Chick has some of my favorite mashed potatoes and it’s so convenient when I don’t want to make my own. I also really love their roast chicken! The employees are typically very kind and prompt and I have yet to have any issues with this location. Definitely a fan!

Came to eat dinner with my wife and had the upmost time with employee hope I say his name right Canelo this young man was so respectful and just touched mine and my wife’s heart very polite and out spoken and great customer services I myself as a manager at jiffy lube like to recognize good worker and if I could I would hire this young man to work for me it not every day you run across young men and women with 100% respect and well mannered I hope you bless this young man and I feel I’ll be back to eat more often do to his alsome attitude thanks and keep this young man on your crew

How can one discribe great tasting chicken! I won't be going to any other stores for fried chicken.
This was the best thus far. Tastes better than Churches and never thought I'd be able to say that.

You get free ice cream if you dine in! I remember loving the free ice cream as a kid. I'm glad they still do that now...my kids love it too!!!

Canelo was so polite and professional. I was very impressed by his customer service and Golden Chick is lucky to have such a good employee. 💯

Golden Chick never disappoints! They have amazing tinders with great meal prices.
Most time the wait is short. Good customer service. Great food! Must try!

Chicken is consistently hot and fresh. If you love super syrup sweet tea this is the spot for it. Yeast rolls are soo good. Line can get long from time to time but is and should be expected for peak times.

To start off, this was my Wifes and my first visit to any Golden Chick location. The overall experience was awesome and made us want to come back. The food alone was hot and tasty, we both got chicken strips and were impressed with the outcome of a normally very mediocre meal at most other chicken establishments. The cleanliness of the restaurant was over all astounding. I was in restaurant management for many years so I am a little picky when it comes to the cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms. I can safely say we were both impressed by everything this store had to offer us, down to the free ice cream for every dine in customer. I am not a big ice cream fan however, theirs is comparable to dairy queen soft serve, which is amazing in my opinion. The service was quick and efficient too. My whole order was ready before i was even finished filling up my drink!!! It brought a metaphorical tear to my eye. :D

When I stopped at this place I wasnt even hungry. I only see this place when traveling home to Houston from Austin. Im sure there may be one closer to where I am in Austin but I never think of this place until I pass it each week going home 😂. I always say I need to stop there one day so I finally did just to try it out. The chicken reminded me of how Church's chicken use to taste decades ago when my mom and I would walk to the corner at night and get chicken. The crust was perfectly golden brown and crispy. The chicken was hot and juicy and I really loved the rolls; soft and tasty. The only thing missing was a pepper. The chicken was very good and I will surely come back on an empty stomach next time😁

Amazing chicken .. or tenders or catfish etc.. great fries .. dirty rice and sweet tea.. window folks always nice

YUM. Visiting from out of state. Was my first time at one of these. Chicken was delicious. Loved the Gravy. Would definitely eat here more if they were available where I live.

Oh my gosh!!!!! On the way home from getting nails done and sunglass shopping. We stopped to pick up dinner and iced tea. We had EXCELLENT service from Amy at the drive thru. She was nice, friendly and welcoming!!! Definitely will be back!!!!

Friendly service. Best place for fish on a budget! Love the rolls and the green beans too! My fav is the roasted chicken, and my husband likes the fried chicken breast.

This is the place for bbq! The lamb was absolutely delicious, all the meats were falling off the bone they were so tender. Come hungry, it's all filling. You also dont have to worry out service because it's a serve yourself place.

Every time we come here, this place is as clean as a whistle!! The Staff work so well together and nobody runs into the Other one. The chicken is hot and the fried okra is not too hard!!! 5 Stars!!!

Good food, I always have cashier check my order before leaving.
