We used to go to Chaparral in Jourdanton but they were just getting too pricey, so I decided to shop around. Soooooo glad I did! This vet not only has better prices but he’s super informative and knows his stuff. He doesn’t upsell and try to get you to buy products or foods you don’t need and everyone seems to genuinely care about your pet there. We took our cat in today but will be taking our dogs here too from now on. We found our new vet & will be telling all our family and friends to start coming here as well. Thank you!! 😊

Amazing staff, Dr too! Pricing was VERY fair. First time there. Took our pit and a kitten for Rabies shot and flea meds and another grown male cat for neutering, rabies, and flea meds. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

I was highly referred by a friend to this clinic last year when my Bean was sick but died before I had a chance to take him in. So when I got my new puppy Redd this year, I set up a visit. It was the Best referral ever. Dr. & Staff are Greatly, Knowledgeable, Caring and Kind. I'm not taking him anywhere else, we are here to stay. ❤

Staff is super sweet. They were absolutely great with my cats and very thorough in explaining the aftercare.

They were very curtious and helpful and I would take any animal to them for help.

I am feeling so blessed to have found this clinic. Dr Ussery and his staff were so great with my old horses. I felt confident in their knowledge, and in how kind and caring they are. So happy to have found them.

I've donated here before, but never came here for services for my pets since one was closer to my house. I did a nail trim here and the prices are way more reasonable and affordable compared to where I was going. After getting prices on services I normally get, I switched to this place that day! Not only are the prices good, the people there are very friendly and welcoming. I got our dog right before COVID hit so I never got to step into the other place's lobby and had to do drop off /curbside services and they still do business like that. I'm so glad this place isn't like that. I was able to be with my dog the whole time and she seemed to like them too.

I recommend this place. The doctor takes his time when you take your pet. He explains things to you. It shows he cares about you and your pet. He has seen 5 of my pets. I have no complaints. The staff are great. Especially Sherry.

Took my 2 1/2 year old boxer to have a surgical procedure done,Dr. Ussery listens well & is very patient,very explanatory,very comforting & sympathetic when he needs to be. He will suggest options for your fur baby & not be pushy about it. He shows compassion to your fur babies as if his own. His staff are hard working,quick about getting your fur baby seen,the office lady,Christine does very well at listening & doing her best to communicate for you with Dr. Ussery in answering your questions & returning your phone call. Very patient about getting your fur baby scheduled as soon as posdible or at first available. Overall a very good pet vet environment & very good services & the most reasonable priced in the area. My family & I highly reccommend Dr. Ussery & his friendly, patient staff for your fur babies needs.

Great place as they stay open later than anything nearby including the city. My puppy needed stitches and was able to get in before closing. Wait was a bit long but once in my puppy was stitched up quickly. Recommended for emergencies as their hours of operation are extended.

Dr. Ussery is just one of the best. He’s been my primary vet since I moved to South Texas 15 years ago. My husband and I truly appreciate all of the compassionate care he’s given our fur family members over the years. I’ve taken all of my dogs and cats (including many fosters, rescues, etc.) here for spays/neutering, vaccines, and other general care. He has also euthanized dogs for me and was great during that difficult process. His vet techs Sheri and Christine are wonderful too, always working hard to meet their patients’ needs. Sheri has helped me through some tough circumstances with my fur babies, and I am forever grateful for her kindness and support. They are a wonderful team of caring professionals. I highly recommend this clinic! Just moved into the area from San Antonio and couldn't be more satisfied with their services!! Our dog for treated for an ear infection, Our cat was neutered and vaccinated all at very reasonable prices and the Veterinarian and staff were absolutely fantastic!

The most amazing People I have ever had to take care of my Fur Babies. I would never even think of taking my pets anywhere else. Recently I had to do the hardest thing a pet owner has to do and without the help of everyone there it would have been a nightmare. This is a 5 star Vet Clinic and has the most loving, caring people I have ever known in 50 years of being a pet owner!!!

I took my 9 month old lab and boarder collie in for a check up. The staff was very friendly and efficient. My pup really loved Miss Sheri! This will be our Vet!

I have am elderly fur baby (15 years)with a lot of health problems. I wouldn't dream of ever taking him anywhere else. They have taken such great care of him and always let me know how he is doing. Awesome doctor and staff! Highly recommend Atascosa Veterinary .
