Atascosa River Park

Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly security watching over the park. Amazing spots to picnic under tree's along the river. Perfect park for Sunday fun day...

Did enjoy this park, has a little bit of everything for all ages. Went there during winter so the splash pad was bone dry but very nice design even for during winter months.

The downside was that none of the charging ports worked so ended up with a dead phone.

I'm proud to say that I helped my Dad Frank " El Campeón " Escalante, renovate the bathrooms and the small gazebos. He built something for everyone to enjoy for years to come and for us the family something to remember him by. I want to thank the City Councel for adding a token of appreciation with a plaque of his name to remember him by.

It means everything to us.

The city park here in Pleasanton is a beautiful place to play, sit and eat. The playgrounds are wonderfully creative and cute. Our kids love playing and running around, really enjoying all the different spaces. There is also a splash pad right next to the playground and basketball courts with an amphitheater being built.

Wonderful park. My granddaughter who is five years old had a wonderful time. Huge area, skate park, splash pad, children’s play area with new modern stuff. Clean restrooms and water fountain between the restrooms.I would say this park is a star amongst the small town parks around here.

This is a very nice, clean park with lots of fun stuff. Playground with a low zipline for kids, covered picnic tables, a skate park, a water park for summer time, large covered pavilions. A river flowing very nearby with a walkway. A great place for family time, a morning run, or just sit and relax.

We love this park! It’s clean and never crowded. We can walk our dogs, sit for a picnic & my son can skateboard or play basketball. The dogs even enjoy the splash pad on hot days!

It's becoming a really nice place. Under reconstruction right now. Just built us a beautiful skate park and putting splash pad for little ones. Aswell as a new play ground. Can't wait to it reopens. I want to skate.

There are so many different types of playgrounds for many age groups of children. There is even a splash pad when it's hot out.

Great park foe all ages and activities. Lots to do and also places to just hang out. Clean restrooms. Ballfields. Playgrounds. And all ages of kids. Location on map isn’t the same as where the activities are though.

This is our favorite park in Atascosa County! Such an awesome place to bring the family, fish, play sports and bbq. We love it here so much!

Wow! Went to the new opened portion at the park! This should of been upgraded years ago when the oil fields was here.
The upgrade is FANTASTIC! The kiddos in this town will have a ball in these water figures. And its FREE! Lots of smiling parents as well. Not sure when the rest of the park will open. But glad water area is for this hot summer. Still giving 5 stars!

Very nice park. Went with my nephew, his wife and her kids, they had a good time. They played splash pad. There's also a skate park there. The river is next to it also. Recommend going to

Nice park along a river. Paved walking trail. It was really cold when we visited, so we didn't walk far. But we saw ducks. 😁

Great place to go for a bike ride, skate, meet ups, have a party, play, BBQ, exercise... what isn't to love here? I especially love the security this place has. It's Always clean too!

This park has really been upgraded lot's to do.

Valley ball erea, basketball, baseball , hudge playground for kids, and build in barbecue pits.
