Cowboys Smoke House BBQ

Wife and I hit this place up for lunch during a motorcycle outing. They have a nice outdoor seating area, which is what caught my eye in the first place. I had the pulled pork sandwich, the wife got the two meat plate with sausage and brisket. The pulled pork was really nicely seasoned and the sandwich was hardily packed with meat. The brisket though. Absolute perfection. It just fell apart in your mouth. Super nice crispy edge, perfect flavor. Some of the best brisket I've tasted (outside of my own of course). The sausage wasn't as great, it tasted a bit gamey. We feel like it could have been seasoned a bit better. The potato salad was decent, and the pinto beans were fantastic. The staff is super friendly. This is a family owned and operated business, and out of the families childhood home. Really great experience and we will be back.

Dino ribs were amazing! So juicy! Meat was falling apart at every bite! Bbq sauce was so delicious. It was worth it! Everyone was so nice!

My husband and I ate here this evening and we WILL be back! The brisket is AMAZING!! I had a brisket sandwich and they didn't skimp on the meat. It was so tender it just melted in my mouth, and the flavor, WOW sums it up. My husband had ribs and chicken and they were fantastic too. To top off the awesome food, all of the people running this place were SO nice and friendly! If you've not been here you're missing out!

Mouth-watering brisket, ribs and sides! We recently took a drive to try out the brisket after having seen another review about the ribs. The drive was well worth it! Once we arrived at the smokehouse we were greeted with friendly faces and staff ready to assist us! We were able to order brisket, beef ribs, Dino-ribs and for our sides we ordered green beans, corn and Mac and cheese. I can't say enough of how delicious everything was!!! It did not disappoint!!! Every item that we ordered was well cooked! The brisket, ribs and Dino-ribs were soooo mouthwatering!!!! Very tasty!! It was sooooo good that we didn't even give it a chance to take a photo for this review!!! I HIGHLY recommend taking a drive out to Pleasanton to try for yourself!! They have a really nice outdoor seating area which would make a nice treat to take the family out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!!! And again, I can't stress how courteous the staff were! Not sure if they are all family but they made it feel like a family environment! We can't wait to return and hopefully be able to taste their desserts which were sold-out when we stopped by late in the afternoon. Thanks again for making our drive worth it!!! Loved every part of our trip!!!

Friendly staff who greet you with a smile. Had to try everything so ordered brisquet, ribs and chicken with sides of beans and potatoe salad. The meat was flavorful and juicy with a nice smoky flavor. The sides were a good compliment to the meat. Did not get a slice of cake but will do so next time. If you are driving in from San Antonio be sure to call your order in for pickup.

We went to Cowboyos today Jan 6th, and i ordered the 4meat plate with creamed corn and potato salad, and an extra half a pound of brisket, well when we got home we were missing the sides and sausage and chicken.
So i called them and told them what had happened, and then i recieved a call from the owner Rachel, apologizing for the mistake, and to go back whenever i had a chance and they would make it good. They are so amazing and very friendly staff, and the ribs and brisket are awesome. I will be going often to this bbq place. We live about 30 minutes away, but its worth the drive!!!! Thanks Rachel!!!!

Great BBQ. There brisket and sausage meats are so soft and moist that they make your mouth water. There other meats are the same. Great family tradition. Very down to earth atmosphere. Will go there again.

With literally thousands of BBQ places in and around San Antonio it's hard to choose just how far ur willing to go to try something new, BUT every once in awhile you'll find a place that has something different or unique or something to that effect...
In Pleasanton Texas there's a place called Cowboys BBQ...
Having tried only one of their meats I can honestly say I fell in love with this place they're Dino Ribs are freakin' awesome. Fall off the bone mouth watering greatness.
Their owner Adam is also pretty cool and easy to talk to. It's a family owned business on a land that's been in the family for decades n generations.
With all of the ambitions that this gentleman has plan for the future I can't wait to go back and see what else happens here.
They are only open Wednesday through Saturday for now who knows maybe in the future they'll open up six to seven days a week, God willing.
So, with that being said, I do so recommend this place. It may be a little pricey but well worth the drive and money. So come on by please be safe and wear your mask and enjoy mouth-watering happiness.

If you haven’t tried it it’s a must... all meats are tender and juicy but the Dino rib was our favorite it’s a fall off the bone treat! Potatoe salad is so great the Mac n cheese is chessy and fluffy. Staff is friendly and they take pride in serving thier customers... best of luck to cowboys!! If you haven’t tried it check it out you won’t be disappointed!

Delicious BBQ with south texas hospitality. I couldn't have been happier with the service we received from the ladies in the front. They make you feel welcome and at home the minute you walk in. The food is some of the best I've ever had. Keep up the amazing work! 👍

Oh my goodness!!!! By far the best bbq I’ve ever had!!! We had brisket and pork ribs, the meat was juicy and falling off the bone!!!! We will be back and will tell everyone we meet about Cowboys!!! The only complaint I have is they’re not open every day!!!

Very friendly atmosphere. Little pricey, but understandable with rising cost of beef. Brisket was very good and I really liked the potato salad.

OMG the best barbecue I have ever had the meat was tender inside and out was flavorful and I didn't even get Nostrand between my teeth the potato salad was excellent the beans were great good atmosphere loved it I could go on and on about this place but they are good.

The ribs just fell off the bone. The brisket was devine. Thumbs up to the cook. And everyone was so nice, the cook (owner) even came out to talk to us. He and his wife just opened a few mths back, and I see them doing very well in the future. Good luck guys!!!

The BBQ is so so good. My family works here but they treat every one just like family. Like going to a family BBQ in the back yard (miss those days). Yes come here for your next BBQ cravings you won't be disappointed.

This place is worth the drive. Missed the Dino rib but the brisket is so moist and tasty, the pork ribs are delicious. Will definitely be back.

This is the best barbecue in Pleasanton Tx. and other places I've tried. Delicious is understatement. You'll say this is Delicious on your first bite.
