I'm a huge supporter of small business. When it came to needing new shoes, this was one of top ones that appeared. Nick helped me find the most appropriate pair for myself and necessary inserts. I had a great experience and they were extremely knowledgeable for what was needed for appropriate foot wear.

Very knowledgeable and helpful people. A great selection of running, walking and court shoes and clothing. Custom fitting and a great group of fellow runners.

Great place to stop by and get fitted for new shoes or other running/outdoor apparel. Good amount of nutrition too if you need supplies for your long runs or rides. Awesome staff. Thank you

We moved to the area not too long ago and went by for some new running shoes. Super knowledgeable, friendly and patient! I hadn’t purchased new shoes in a long time and had a recent injury so I was nervous to pick the right shoes. I also learned some new information about my feet I didn’t know. I love my new shoes and the service was great. They were also very busy when we were there, and she was so quick to help everyone and give proper attention. We also got invited to run with their running group. My toddler son was also with us and was in a grumpy mood, and she was super accommodating and tried to keep him happy while I shopped. I highly recommend this store if you need some new shoes!

So, don't let the name fool you! This is a everybody "tennis" shoe store. I went looking for an actual shoe store so I could get my wife and myself a pair of GOOD QUALITY shoes. When you first see the store, me being an old man and NOT a runner, I thought this was not the place for us. However, we pushed forward, went in and were met by Nick. He really took good care of us. There is a foot measuring aching which we both submitted to. We learned some things. Nick then brought out several brands of shoes to fit the machine's specs. The long short of it...we both walked out with extremely comfortable and great fitting shoes. Prices were fair and overall a great place to shop for shoes no matter your age or condition. We highly recommend and will go back!

Came in today without an appointment to get measured for new running shoes. Nick and team were amazing. I had an underwhelming experience somewhere else recently; however, Two Rivers took good care of me. I think I tried on 3 or 4 shoes and Nick was able to pinpoint exactly what I needed. I'll be back for my future running needs. Thanks a million!

I came in on Thursday at 5:40pm to get new running shoes and also to join the walk group that meets at 6. I didn’t know that they closed at 6. I came with my 3 toddlers (4yo, 2yo, and 11months) which was probably not a good idea on my part but Nick and Michelle were amazing. They never rushed me through and took their time trying to find the best fit for me. I’ve been fitted for shoes before but never as thoroughly as they did. This was the best service I have gotten anywhere not just with shoes but at any business.
I’d also like to mention how well they were at helping me with the kids so I could get fitted. Michelle pulled out a drawer with coloring books and crayons for them which was super sweet to have on hand.
I will definitely be recommending all my friends and family here and will be returning when I wear out mine…maybe without the kids next time.

I was so pleased with Two Rivers Running. The knowledge they have there is amazing! I was able to get a customized fitting and find out what was just right for me. Although the first pair didn't quite work out for me, I was able to exchange them without any issues. They were able to zone in more on what would be best for me after trying the first pair and I can say I really appreciated that! I will be going back to Two Rivers Running in the future and supporting this local business. They know their stuff!!

They really understand that the importance of a correct matched shoe for your individual running style is crucial to prevent injuries. They truly are not biased with their advice and you will get individual recommendations from people who breath and live running, as opposed to getting an inexperienced person in the big box running store. They also have a nice selection of clothing, and the best selection of gels and food supplements. You can also count on them to get personalized coaching if you want to run a 5k or an Ultra Marathon. What a blessing it was for my 12 year old grandson to shop at Two Rivers Running. He has cerebral palsy and needed to find a very good quality shoe that would accommodate a custom made AFO brace and orthotic made by Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Nick thoughtfully analyzed the challenge deciding which shoe brands would work best for being able to properly insert the brace but that would also work best for his other foot. He made sure both feet had the same support, comfort and balance so my grandson’s alignment would be correct and his drop foot condition could be mitigated. Nick and Michelle’s attention to details, compassion, and vast knowledge of their products was an unexpected blessing. To say that our family will now be long-time and loyal customers is an understatement. As owners they may have a small business building but they have made a huge impact on the well-being of my grandson. Before you drive to San Antonio, San Marcos outlets or Austin, please shop local and support a New Braunfels business that is fully invested in the well-being of our community. Great environment, everyone was so friendly and helpful. So many different kinds of options and I was even able to try out the shoes on a treadmill to see how they feel.

Michelle and Nick continually do a great job with their shoe knowledge and experience. Every time my son and myself enter the Two Rivers Running store they are beyond welcoming and make you feel at home. My son enjoys going in there just to have shoe conversations with them and every pair of shoes we purchase at Two Rivers we leave so happy with!!! Thank you Michelle and Nick!!!
