River Road Escapes

We stayed at the Air Haus and loved it! Upstairs is nicely done and accommodates 3 full bedrooms and 2 full baths. Downstairs has 5 bunk beds and a separate bathroom. Ac blows cold. Decks have many places to sit and relax with easy access to the water. It was so peaceful we are planning to book for family get together.

The staff is great and the river view is beautiful

Our family loves our "River Road Escapes" vacation each year!! The house that we rent is spacious, clean and very comfortable and we have private river access! Also, anytime I have ever spoken with the staff they are awesome, very professional but also very personable! We have stayed here two years in a row and plan to make it an annual tradition! I would highly recommend "River Road Escapes."

We had a great time staying at this place! It was plenty spacious, enough for 18-19 adults. Bunk beds located on the bottom floor, and three full bedrooms on the top floor. 2 full bathrooms upstairs, full kitchen, living room with plenty of places to sit and be together in one room, and downstairs a full bathroom as well. The deck had a great view of the Guadalupe, and the downstairs deck was great as well. Wonderful property, would definitely stay again with a big group.

The house was clean with plenty of space for my family of 15 to enjoy quality time together directly on the river floating and just hanging out. Check in/out was super easy. We were able to get any questions answered very quickly via text or email before and during our stay. My favorite was the outdoor porch area over looking the river, we ate all our meals there and spent many hours laughing, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. We look forward to staying here again next year!

We loved this rental! Very clean, fits 12 people perfectly. The river location is nice, not too crowded. Nice big rock ledge at the house easy for swimming without floating away. There a 2 houses next door that can be rented if doing a large group up to 36 people! We will be back!

This is such a beautiful and peaceful spot on the Guadalupe river that I would recommend it highly. The cabins are spacious, clean and very comfortable with room to spread out easily. The shallow, crystal clear river is framed by shady Cypress trees which makes it perfect for kids and adults. I loved staying at River Road Escapes and would highly recommend it to anyone!

I really recommend this house. Is fully equipped and great for a large family. The private access to the river is the best thing. My family spend the weekend and we really enjoyed the stay at the house and swimming at the river. Kids and adults will enjoy. Dont forget your water shoes you will need them.

First off, 5 stars! We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend Mother's Day weekend. The view from the porch was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the cool, clear Guadalupe River front. The home was well furnished and came equipped with firepit, charcoal grill & kayaks! Everything you need for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend some kayaking (or tubing) and the local BBQ. We can't wait to come again!

We stayed at the bluff haus on lake placid . It was a really nice weekend . It has its own private pier. House was roomy, beds were comfortable . Easily sleeps 8-10 people . The people (Katy) at River Road escapes were extremely helpful and responding within minutes each time along the way that i had a question . Was a successful trip we enjoyed the house and renting through river road . Would definitely recommend

This place was very nice plenty of room for everyone. Perfect location by the lake. Stores and boat rentals close by. Had everything u needed inside as for cooking. Hot tub was awesome stand up shower very beautiful. Extra refrigerator outside in garage. We loved it so much and we will be coming again. Also the place is very clean.

Very satisfied with the house, it was clean and very cozy. Perfect size for friends & family. Had a blast! It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Totally recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a fun relaxing getaway.

I absolutely loved the cabin we stayed at. There is plenty of space and all the amenities are included. The only thing we brought was our food. The views were amazing and very relaxing. Felt like we were in another state. Definitely going to try to make it a yearly visit. Highly recommend!

Great experience booking and through our stay! The location was great, just down the road from the river, nice and quiet. We floated from Rio Guadalupe which is just a few blocks away. Overall great experience. Cute little place with all the amenities we needed!

We had such a good time at the Bluf Haus. Plenty of room for families (8 beds!! Including two sets of bunk beds!). Complete kitchen and bbq grill allowed us flexibility. Right on the river, and complete with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kids kayaked and swam off of the dock. So much fun!

Had a great stay at The Air Haus! We will be rebooking for next year, the house accommodated our group of 18 perfectly! The downstairs bathroom was a great addition to the house and the updated decor was nice and the beds were super comfy.

River Road Escapes absolutely has THE 3 PERFECT HOUSES ON THE GUADALUPE...HANDS DOWN!!! We stayed in the blue Water House which is right next door to the other 2 houses and we couldn't be closer to the river even if we tried...all 3 houses were directly ON the river! Joyce, Katie and Billy were also simply the kindest and most helpful group of people that we've ever dealt with and we can't wait to return and do business with them again!

What a great place! Comfortable accommodations and right on the Guadalupe. My group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I especially enjoyed my nap in the hammock overlooking the river!

Beyond expectations! This place was cozy and beautiful!
