$2 to tube on weekends over the summer. Free to put in during the weekday. You must pay to park there for the day(8am-7pm). Park has tennis courts and disc golf as well as tube chute rental $7 or tubing down the Comal river $2 weekends and free weekdays. You can put in to tube further up the river for free, if you bring your own tubes and don’t want to pay for parking. This requires a half mile walk, though just to put in. Tube from chute/Prince Solms Park to last free exit 1.5 hour float when river is flowing fast. Walk back to park isn’t bad but will take 20 minutes on shaded sidewalk. No shuttle from river exit to park where you left vehicle.

Love the falls at the park. First time there recently and it is nicely laid out. Always wear a life jacket if your a poor swimmer my daughter is alive today because she wore one.
The set up is simple and large. Careful going down the chutes so you don't fall out. Plenty of river bank to rest on and enjoy the weather. Best hours are after 7pm when only the locals come out to play.

Great place to float and enjoy the cold refreshing water! You can bring your own toobs and put in at Prince Solms then float for a few hours to the last free exit and it is only a 10-15 walk back to prince solms!

Great park to visit. The water does have a lot of algae in the river but it's beautiful. I definitely will not swim in the water. But many people do. It truly is pretty deep so make sure if you have kids with you they can swim.

Be very careful on the tube chute. The beauty can be dangerous. Parking is $30+ between May 1st through Labor Day.

My husband, daughter, and I were traveling from San Antonio back to Dallas. We stopped at this beautiful park because I had a job interview via FaceTime. The background was perfect, and my husband and daughter enjoyed exploring. Loved it!! ❤💙💛

Best place in New Braunfels to drop in if you have your own tubes as you get to access all 3 chutes by starting at this point. Parking and entry are free during the off season as well! If you do go during peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) entry is $2/person and parking is $20/car (so be sure to carpool).

Prince Solms Park pre-dates Schlitterbahn New Braunfels by 3 years. So if you like simplicity and nature without all the man-made bells and whistles, this a decent place.

Amazing day of relaxation. We took and cooler, chairs, and a Slingshot that we rented from Slingshot Rentals of San Antonio. Located only 15 minutes away! It was a great time and an amazing way for any tourist to travel.

Will be coming back! Be sure to get there early to avoid the crowds. So nice life jackets were provided in the front entrance of the park

Prince Solms is a well-kept and beautiful park in the heart of New Braunfels! Connecting trails, restrooms on-site, tennis courts, basketball court, river entry, welcoming 9 basket disc golf course, and free parking in the off-season.

This place was great! This was a great starting point to float the river because you get to go down 3 tube chutes. The first chute is fast and you go around a curve. So hold on to your stuff! If you are connected to friends make sure you are connected properly! It is a really fun chute though. The second one is a little fast too and the third is slower. It was packed the first 2 times we floated it but it wasnt a problem. Everyone was cool and having fun. If you need to blow up tubes, they have a place at the front gates for $1 each time. Definitely can not wait to go again next year!

We float this river 5-6 times a year. Go spend four or five hours chillin in the water on a hot Texas day, not much better than that. We drive down from Austin, stop for tacos, and get there about 10-10:30. Inflate our tubes (R.I.P. Tubey and Floater 2022! ☠🍩👻 And you will be replaced next year, but we had some good times together... 😭) and get in the river before it gets scalding. It takes 2 hours-ish depending on the flow, the crowds, and what you do along the way. When you get to the end and get out of that river, it's maybe a 10 minute walk back up to the park (highly recommend something for your feet on the walk back, the ground gets HOT) . We grab stuff from the cooler in our car, sunscreen up again before we get a 2nd float in. Pack up, stop at Buc-ee's on he way out and grab dinner back in Austin.

Parking is $20 all day on their parking app. There is a $2 river free on weekends and holidays which pays for lifeguards, so that's cool. It's cheap fun at its best! I LOVE the COMAL RIVER!

We love floating the river and playing at the tube chute. In the summer and summer holidays it can be very crowded. There are tennis courts, basketball court, and disc golf. Know that you must pay for parking during the day from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There is also a cost to use the river on the weekends. Check New Braunfels Parks and rec pages before you go.

Great fun! But remember, somebody drowns down there at least once a year! There's a wicked eddy at the end of the tube shoot. If you're with anyone who's not an amazing swimmer wear a life jacket!!!
