Excellent food that reminded me of happy times with my family. Thanks!

My girlfriend had one minor suggestion, which would be to double wrap the shrimp tacos since corn tortillas are pretty flimsy. No big deal though!

The food we had here was amazing. The large crawfish gumbo was really good and big portion. I love the shrimp diane, the flavor was both rich milky and refreshing at the same time.

PS:
I had the Friday lunch special meatloaf once, it was not like an ordinary meatloaf you can get from other places and it was very delicious. Unfortunately it is Friday only.

This establishment was amazing! Food was delicious and made to perfection. Our waitress was very nice and always made sure our cups never went past half empty. Pricing was very reasonable, we paid about 40$ for everything in these two pics.

First time visit with my family. Excellent atmosphere: down home southern feel. Service was great! We arrived right at noon and were seated right away. The server was attentive and checked on us consistently. The food was steller! The Crawfish Etouffee was buttery, rich, and loaded with crayfish. 1000/10. If you are in the Round Rock area or just passing through, add this place to your itinerary.

Very good food here. We had the shrimp po-boy and blackened chicken specifically. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the rolls they use are perfect for a po-boy. Not some hard hot-dog type bun I've gotten elsewhere. Wife enjoyed the blackened chicken.

First time ever eating at this place. I have to say, it was delicious beyond words. I had the chicken fried chicken with red beans and rice and mac&cheese. The red beans and rice were outstanding. My wife had the jambalaya, the flavor of the sauce, EXQUISITE! We also had fried pickles, unlike any other place I've ever had. This place was worth my $30 and will continue to give them my business. If ever in the mood for Louisiana food, this is the place. Next time, I'll be having the gator :)

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday while visiting Round Rock. We had a party of 6, so had to wait about 15 minutes for a larger table. There's a nice sitting area right outside to kill the time. Upon sitting, waitress immediately came over to take the drink orders and answer any questions.

Started off with the large Seafood Fondue and a few drinks. The drinks were ok, but the Fondue was amazing. I expected basic melted cheese with a few seafood pieces, but I was pleasantly wrong. It was very flavorful with a nice mix of spinach, mushrooms, various cheeses, with large chunks of shrimp and crawfish. It went perfectly with the bread.

For the meals, there were so many tough choices so we asked the waitress for some recommendations. She said everything was good, but the favorite is the Stuffed Flounder, so ordered that smothered with the fondue sauce and a side of red beans and rice. This was a great recommendation as it was a large piece of flounder that was generously stuffed with crab and smothered with the same fondue sauce we had for an appetizer. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and all looked delicious.

I'll definitely come back to try some more menu items, even though it will be tempting to get the Stuffed Flounder. Great food and service.

OMG! The food is so tasty! We had fried pickles which were fresh and wonderfully breaded. We had the fried shrimp, which are the best shrimp I've had where I wasn't looking at an ocean. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious! Go!! Go and give them your money!

I have been going here for years. Yesterday I needed my crawfish fix. I was sadly disappointed. The crawfish use to have so much flavor, now is bland and not spicy at all. Even after I request extra extra spicy the crawfish was still bland.

The drinks were always on point. The best hurricanes in Georgetown. Now taste like Hawaiian Punch. I am very disappointed, I had to leave and go to Hook N Reel to satisfy my appetite. I will give them another chance.

UPDATE: Brandon listened and came back for redemption. The crawfish was WELL seasoned and had the right amount of spice. He has earned my continued business. I commend him for taking the time out to learn how to make crawfish.

It was our first time visiting and the food was very good. Quick service and our waiter was very attentive. We tried the pico de gallo chicken, chicken fried steak, smothered steak and onion strings. Looking forward to going back!

Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! Service was good they were attentive and polite. The dark horse was the corn bread! Gotta ask for it if you want it defiantly ask!! The combination platter was a perfect choice for us I was able to get the crab cakes and coconut shrimp. Crab was tasty defiantly not a northern plump cake but the flavor was pleasant and definitely hit the spot. Would definitely go back and try a bunch more on the menu!!

Tried this place put while in town for a conference. This place was way smaller and way less crowded than I thought it should be considering how delicious it is. We tried the boudin egg rolls came fresh and hot, outside light and crispy and the roumelade was the right amount of spicy. Up next was the house combo (I think that's the name). It came with jambalaya, red beans and rice, and then I picked spinach and crawfish ettouffee for my choices. Now I was expecting this to be good, but it was so good now I'll have to drive my family 1.5 hours just to try it. The Cajun ice tea was the perfect amount of drink to get you right and the service was friendly and food came out fast and hot. Definitely coming back here!

Our experience began after we were turned away, as we arrived at closing time. Standing out front looking at our phones trying to plan our next move... the manager, Kelly, came out and invited us to come in. As, they had two tables that were still ordering. She said, "the kitchen was still open." We thought oh great! We sat down and she personally took care of our entire experience. From drinks and appetizers to our entrées. Complete with menu suggestions, substitutions and upgrades. She was amazing! That's for the service. Now as for the food. It was equally outstanding! With authentic recipes from the owners recipe box. Who just happens to be from New Iberia, LA. Everything we ate was hot, fresh and delicious. Remember this is at closing time. Nothing bottom of the barrel about this food. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in downtown Round Rock. The food and service is out of this world great! Thank you so much Ms. Kelly for a great evening. We'll definitely be back.

First time here, and the service was great. Two women who I assume were the owners or managers walked around the restaraunt greeting customers and making us feel very welcome. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. The cornbread (included if you ask for it) was so tasty! I had the catfish etouffee which was amazing! The place is a bit small, but that provides a nice atmosphere of a small town Louisana cafe.

We had a lazy Saturday afternoon and wanted to eat in downtown RR, and walked in to the cafe for the first time… it will not be the last.

My son loved his cheeseburger with old diner style skin on shoe string fries, while my wife and I first split the Boudin Egg-rolls and the Chicken Isabella. The Egg rolls were cravable - the entree was great but the sides were next level - we had okra and red beans and rice.

Shout out to Audrey - she was a great server.

Food was exceptional. Jordyn our waitress was exceptional. The portions were big and we had plenty to take home. Catfish, gumbo, etouffee and jambalaya were great!

The absolute best cajun place in Texas. Everything is spot on. The decor and atmosphere scream Louisiana. The owners are always on site and friendly. The service is top notch. The food is amazing, beyond words. The food is as good, if not better than anything you can find back home in La. Their hurricanes are perfection as well. Even Pat O' would approve. And...they use real Gambino's bread!!! Best cajun place west of the Mississippi River.
