I love this place! Last Friday we did a to go order! As usual lots of people waiting... people there are really nice...if you gonna go there makes sure come early. Not the best pics but I'm going to share... lol sashimi must have this is my fave!! FYI I don't ate before sashimi but this time it's hard to pass by! Lol just sweet fresh taste and melt inyour mouth... then nagiri, and Philadelphia rolls are good. The last but not the least the udon must try too!! I forgot the name but ask the waitress for best sellers for udon.. this is the last udon name in the menu.. enjoy! And we will be back their again!

There is always Excellent service every time I go. The staff is very friendly. It’s very clean and orderly. The food is beautifully prepared and delicious. If you get a chance, make a reservation for one of their Tatami rooms for an authentic Japanese experience. I love reserving a Tatami room because it feels like I’m sitting in a little piece of Japan. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Been here since 2008, never fails to disappoint. Best waitresses! One thing people don't know about is the traditional tables that they have in the back. You take off your shoes and head right on in. Underneath the table there is space to put your legs so don't worry about kneeling.

Service is not compromised due to extreme business. Excellent service. DELICIOUS food!!! My husband does not like Japanese food, but he was converted tonight by the quality and tastiness of the food!!!

I had the Nightbane sushi. It was a nice combination but the salmon was a little bit chewy. The dessert pictured was very tasty and a nice way to wrap up a special meal. Our waitress was very attentive and the food came out quickly.

On my many visits to Edo over the years, the service and food quality has always been consistently good, and prices are reasonable. The Japanese style setting adds to the experience, and there is a wide range of Japanese dishes and sushi from which to choose.

Delicious Food but service is a bit slow. Sushi is fresh and they have a daily lunch special called The Lunchbox. My favorite lunchbox is the sesame chicken and fried fish. Try the Ebi Tem sushi roll.....yum.

So this place is amazing. Super authentic Japanese food, also with some Americanized options for those less eager to dive in lol. The vibe is relaxed and semi formal. The sushi is by far the shining star of this restaurant. It's spoiled for 20 years and I have a hard time eating sushi elsewhere because of it.

Pro tip: try the nightbane roll, it's quite spicy but full of flavor and fun presentation.

Edo is my favorite restaurant for sushi and sashimi. They have the regular sushi menu and the white board with the special items. My personal favorite is the tuna tataki. It isn't on the menu and it's a little pricey, but it is outstanding. Very slightly seared tuna served with ponzu sauce. Try it with a cold sake or a Domaine la Colombe rose wine.

Edo is so good! I meant to take pics of their sushi but got excited when it showed up and forgot all about the pics!

Yes I recommend! Fantastic restaurant with very good food. The atmosphere is like one being on the streets of Japan. Ask to sit in the back rooms, where you sit on the floor to eat. WARNING you will have to remove your shoes to sit there... So no smelly feet please. We had to endure a smelly table next to us. Don't be the table the servers are talking about. Very professional service. The wife and I eat here during every visit to Huntsville.

By far the best Japanese cuisine in North Alabama. My only complaint is that the bathrooms don’t have a changing table, but that’s just minor. All of the staff are very friendly. Sushi is AMAZING! Best chicken teriyaki in town (in my opinion). This place has NOT ONCE disappointed me. I can’t wait until they open back up so my husband and I can enjoy some delicious Japanese food!

Love the food, love the environment, absolutely love the customer service. The sushi is as fresh as it can be. The sushi chef is very knowledgeable, the menu is endless, and they are usually pretty quick. The people are always polite and friendly. Haven't met a single rude person, yet. It's my wife's favorite restaurant.

Really good Japanese food. The sushi is great, the lunch prices are reasonable, and do yourself a favor to stop and enjoy the landscaping. Both the koi pond out front and the dining garden out back are simply gorgeous!

The entrance is a little cramped, but once you get a table or booth you have plenty of room. The server was very attentive to our drinks and needs. We got sushi that is always amazing. It is our favorite place to go for sushi because the rolls are a decent size, delicious and very reasonably priced.

This was honestly the best sushi I've ever had. For the best price. We're from Florida and this is our first time in Alabama. 100% would make the trip back just for that sushi. I think I'd move here just for that sushi. We plan on going again for dinner tomorrow.

Pretty sure they're out of business after COVID, but I will remember them fondly.

Truly authentic Japanese food. The Best service! This restaurant has been in business for as long as I can remember and is the place the Japanese engineers from Toyota go for a taste of home. The staff is excellent and remember you by name.There is a young waiter named Lance, very pleasant knows the menu very well.
