Spy Shop Round Rock

The spy shop is my new favorite store. I've driven by 100 times but never stopped until now, I wish I had stopped sooner. I'm in the security field and needed a baton for a manager detail. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and professional. The specific baton that I chose is a standard law enforcement issue and normally sells for 65.00 to 80.00 but the shop even beat Amazon's price at an amazing 22.00 dollars.

It's definitely a place where I could spend 500.00 or more, given their selection and amazing inventory. I'll recommend this place to anyone looking for specifics in security or law enforcement.

Lane Scott and his crew did a phenomenal job installing my cameras. They helped me with what I needed for security set up. I highly recommend using Spy Shop Round Rock. What an amazing place in Round Rock to get all your shopping done so quick. I had the honor of meeting both the owners during my visit and felt like family. They even let me know when an item would be back in stock and where they ship to just in case I wasn't able to make it back.

Great set of owners and staff... they have everything you needed to be safe, protected, and informed. They sell entire home security systems, nanny cams, personal security items and secret devices. Easiest thing to do it go by and see what they have to offer.

What a gem of a spy store. Run by a dear friend of mine Jamie Martin who I consider a close confidant. I met Jamie over 15 years ago when I was Private Investigator and he was working for a previous spy shop in Austin. I literally saw him develop as a true professional in the Spy Shop industry with the wealth of experience that propelled him to now be the owner of The Spy Shop Round Rock. As as owner, Jamie now gets to make all the decisions to offer the best spy equipment to the residents of Austin, Texas. We were in town visiting family and just happen to see this shop, stopped in just for fun but ended up purchasing a few things. The staff is so friendly and honors prices if a difference is found! Cool find with nice gadgets!

I was there 2 hours ago I met a young lady behind the counter who is very knowledgeable about the Wi-Fi cameras that I was looking at I didn't buy one at this time for the certainly I will go back and get them. I did manage to purchase for my friend a piece of equipment that he can use for camping excellent place thank you.

Not cool to close this type of business on Saturdays. Really stupid honestly. Most people shop on Saturdays. Proven fact.

Not what I expected, everything is either out the back in storage or in cabinets with very little to see. They have their full range of stuff online, very limited amount of product actually on the floor.

I walked in thinking I was going to walk into Aladdin's Cave with products of all sorts on display and was severely disappointed.

The staff said "we have x, y and z available", yet I didn't see any of those things and the staff member hovered, felt like I was in an upmarket store with them looking down on me. A very uncomfortable atmosphere.

Further to that I mentioned there were no notices at the front door for hours, she rudely pointed to a lit sign and commented about it, to which I replied that it's useless if it's off when you close the store as I had visited personally in the past and it wasn't on.

I found the website unhelpful as I only located their hours of operation when I hit the 'contact' link. Hours should be on the opening home page, not hidden behind links. Basic stuff people, you want business but don't make it easy for people to do so.

As an example of x,y,z. I never saw a single lockpick set, training kits or many of the items that are common to this style of business. Plenty of fake security cameras and other security related items. The store layout is very sterile.
