I called them on a spare, a moment to change my radiator fluid give it a flush and fill. They gave me a timeframe when it would be done and beat it by a longshot, had my vehicle back to me very quickly. And very nice people to deal with which is unlikely Usually with mechanic shops. Pretty fair prices.

First time being at this Daves location. They got me a half off oil change - thanks Bryan. Kotto is a thorough mechanic and put a patch on my tire because he had the time. I was going to check with my warranty from my tire place but he just did it as a courtesy. 🔥🔥 Seriously thank you so much.

I have used Dave’s for 7 years since I moved to Austin. Always very friendly and helpful with whatever problem I brought to them. I was there about a week ago for replacement of my wiper blades and for an oil change. I told them the last few times I’ve gotten my blades changed there they never really worked that great, so I wanted them to test them out making sure my entire windshield was covered this time. They did that and more. Best windshield wipers I’ve ever had on this 14 year old Honda CRV. Don’t hesitate to not go visit them because they will take care of you.

I highly recommend this location. From the guy Martin at the front desk to the general manager Josh, they were honest and upfront, and that’s all you can ask for when getting your car fixed. Thank you guys so much!!!!

Dave’s Ultimate Automotive on Howard always takes good care of me. They honestly share what should be done now and what can wait. I trust their work and have never had a repair that didn’t fix the issue. They are also kind and keep me informed.

These guys are great!!!! Very friendly and no push for you to have services you don't really need. I really appreciated how they explained the emissions testing results I have been using the dealer for routine Maintenace but not anymore.

Just wanted to say these guys took the time to give me advice on my car, despite the car being older than what they normally work on. Not everyone will take time out if their busy day to just give advice on something they aren't making money on.
That is appreciated, and I'll keep these guys in mind if someone needs an honest mechanic.

I've been taking my cars to Dave's for half of my life. Wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my vehicle. Always dependable, and they always will help with a discount if they can.

Dave’s did an amazing job. I had previously taken my truck to Ford and it was a horrible experience. Not only did they not fix the issue, they held my truck for over a week. Dave’s immediately started working on my truck, and didn’t stop until the issue was solved. They were always so polite and continued to communicate with me throughout the whole process. They even let me store my truck overnight in their locked garage since I was at work and couldn’t get it until the next day. I will for sure be coming back here.

Update: I was still having the same issue and Dave’s yet again got it fixed and in a timely manner. I don’t see myself using any other shop. They are great!

I took my car in to get my A/C checked out as it was no longer blowing cold air. They looked at it and replaced a part and re-charged the Freon. Shortly after picking it up it stopped blowing cold air for a couple days but it started to work again after that. I was concerned as that seemed pretty abnormal. I called Dave’s and they said to bring it back in. They looked at it and made the necessary adjustments free of charge and in a very timely fashion and I am back on the road. Would recommend giving this place a try.

Excellent, fast service. Very friendly and helpful staff! Reasonably priced and I fully trust them with my car for service in the future.
