Great food.

I went in with friends to the 'Open Mic' night. The music was good but too loud to sit in the room with the musicians and carry on a conversation. Service was great. My hamburger was really good for the price. I'll go back, especially when dancing becomes popular.

I've eaten steak here twice now and the service and the food were very good.

Very Disappointing trip to Al's Empty glass. Today my colleagues went to try out the Al's Empty Glass for lunch. I saw another diner eating Roast Beef Special. I order it because it looked really good. When I tried the mashed potatoes i did not like them. So I asked the waitress, by the way who was very sweet and very attentive for a baked potato. She said sure and went to get me one.

Prior to the problem with the potato a man was voicing his concern about his potato ans salt content and Al was arguing with the elderly man. He continued to argue and argue then he brought him out something different.

As I was waiting for my potato Al came to the table and asked what was wrong. I stated I did not like the mashed potato. He asked again and I hesitated but did not want a long drawn out argument so I just said they were nasty. He immediately got angry and said I would have to pay for a baked potato took my plate and came back with more mashed potatoes. I told the waitress I did not want mashed potatoes. He came back and said try them. I refused and asked him to take my plate. He yanked my plate then preceded to take my tea. My colleague, said wait a minute she did not want the food leave her tea.

I was very shocked at his behavior and mannerisms. But, oh my goodness it got worst. Another customer order mashed potatoes and asked was serving them he badger them to try them and pointing to me that I said the potatoes were nasty. They looked over at me in shock and pity at same time.

My experience here was appalling. I have never been treated in that manner, even by an enemy. The Constitution gave us the right of freedom of speech and since I am paying for the food I have the right not to like something. As a restaurant owner in a small town and a new restaurant you would think you would like to please every customer. Instead your belittling, rudeness and unprofessional behaviors have just you a horrible review and the lost of three customers.
Kudos to the waitress, you are too sweet to work for this man.

CLOSED & boarded up! Coming from TN & picked hotel when we were still 100 miles out based on food close by! Web page shows it open till midnight!
Note to weary travelers not wanting pizza - call everyone ahead to confirm they are open!!!
