Mug On the Square

Oh my gosh, obsessed is an understatement. The espresso is DELICIOUS and the drinks overall are incredible. You can tell they take great care in making them. The employees were very sweet and welcoming too! Love the atmosphere. We will definitely come back often! My only issue was that the muffin was super dry but I’m sure that was just a fluke.

Edited - 3/17. The coffee continues to be PERFECT and so excellent. They graciously offered a new muffin and also fixed an issue I had at the other location. I can’t say enough good things about Mug on the Square and their team!! I can’t get enough of their coffee and look forward to seeing them!

Our favorite coffee shop in the area! From the delicious baked goods to the wonderful staff to, of course, the delicious coffee. We come here as often as possible! The honey lavender latte is my fave ❤

I cannot say enough about this place. I have been going there for over a year and the products, staff, service and atmosphere are second to nonewhen it comes to coffee shops. Small, local business south a huge Texas sized heart and a humble attitude. Stop in, say hi, get the Creme Brulee, my favorite (and I am not a huge fan of flavored coffees)!

Great atmosphere and the white mocha was delicious! Friendly staff. A hidden gem :)

Such a cute little place! Stopped in on our way through town from Granbury heading to Conroe. We will definitely stop again next time we’re in the area. Sweet gals working, excellent cold brew, and delicious pastries..a true trifecta! Keep it up y’all.

Posted a review on Facebook and now a few weeks later I'm on Google; as I cannot praise this place enough! I didn't know what the Texas Tornado was and the kind gentleman up front on Saturday, February 10th of year 2024, he explained it spot on. Like good melted ice cream; smooth, delicious and creamy. It also has two shots of espresso for a pick me up that you can't even taste. I also got the Lemon Blueberry muffin, it's to die for. Always will recommend Mug On The Square. ❤❤

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Cleburne. The drinks were good and the building is very unique. The honey lavender drink was excellent. It looks like they had breakfast sandwiches, but did not get one. They had your typically pastries bagels, muffins, cookies, etc.

Found this coffee shop and it’s delicious, worth the drive. I order one of their monthly specialty coffees (oat latte) it was perfect and delicious pastries to pair your coffee with. The aesthetic is so cute too.

This is a nice, little coffee shop. They have lots of seating and good space for playing board games. We had the honey lavender latte and it was great!

These humans are gifted, artists of coffee!!! Love love the people that work here.

Such an amazing coffee shop! I love supporting local and was traveling through town and wanted to try something different besides Starbucks. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by both the workers. They were extremely friendly and made an amazing latte for me. One of the best pumpkin spice lattes I've ever had !!! The place looked so cool and fun. If I ever come back to this part of Texas I will definitely be a customer again ☺

Tried mug on the square. Had the maverick, the Batman, the Avatar and the shaken white mocha. They were all delicious. Will be coming back. Has a great vibe, very inviting, baristas are very friendly. It was a chill little spot.

Great atmosphere. Love spending a morning with a friend or the hubby here. Wonderful coffee. Yummy scones and muffins. Highly recommend Mug on the Square!!!!!

This coffee shop is a MUST if you are in the Cleburne area. It brings a small town vibe and brags a Fort Worth quality experience! The merch is clean, the interior is cute, and the drinks are carefully crafted. Wish I had found this place sooner!

The coffee is great!!! It's a great place to meet a friend and talk, and a great place to do some work on your computer.

Shaken white mocha was amazing! Staff had good recommendations, vibe was nice, and area was clean and comfy. It's a nice mix up from the regular Starbucks. They had good breakfast snacks/pastries. Service was quick and pleasant.

Quaint local craft coffee shop with unique flavors and drinks. Great seasonal hot and cold varieties. I love to stop in for a quick coffee or enjoy a Honey Lavender Latte. They also have food for breakfast and lunch as well as coffee by the bag.

Left a 4 star review when they 1st opened, now several years later, I'm very happy to reconsider. This place is easily one of the best coffee shops in DFW area. How lucky are we to have it here? Cool seasonal drinks, yummy food, super friendly & chill staff, why go anywhere else? Cheers!
