Pacific Star Restaurant & Oyster Bar - Round Rock

Food here is very good. Enjoyed the Catfish. Flaky and made just right. The gumbo was excellent. Could be a little spicier for my tastes. Was greeted as I walked in. My server was very polite and helpful.

Lunch today, fresh oysters, broiled flounder + Gumbo. All were delicious, staff was great. Glad
someone recommended it as I would never have noticed it...it's a bit off the beaten track. 100% chance we'll return

Man, ohhh, Man! Pacific Star was On-Point today! The Gulf Oysters were the best I’ve had in years!!! And the shrimp and oyster platter was so delish! Looking forward to going back later in the week for crawfish… they didn’t have any today!

We visited Pacific Star on a Friday night. We got a seat immediately. The staff were very friendly. The food was good! We had a fun experience with quick service. They have a special seafood soup that was not on the menu. We bought one to go. When we ate it the next day, it was absolutely delicious. This place is a hidden gem. I recommend it!

Classic rustic with a fresh coat of paint, imagining some foreign eatery near the water. Add this place to your maps.

Pacific Star is one of our favorite go-to restaurants for seafood in Round Rock. Always get full and consistently yummy!
The gumbo is AMAZING. Not too spicy, lots of flavor, and not skimpy on the shrimp!
The catfish is seasoned well and fried to perfection. I get the filet and my Mother-In-Law gets the whole catfish. She's particular about her catfish and loved it.
My husband has had Alaskan Salmon and Rainbow Trout before as well, and raves about both!
Highly recommend this place. It may be little but its fiercely amazing!

This place surpassed my expectations, aside from a small hiccup with a server who clearly was having a bad day! However this was remedied by Celeste who went above and beyond with her exceptional customer service. We ordered actually a feast lol we are all foodies❤ The Michelada was yummy and paired well with our crawfish, crab cake, shrimp cocktail and etc not to mention the trout special and all the entrees were delicious. Definitely will be visiting again!

This is a very chill non fancy place.
Oysters were great, they seemed fresh.
Server was overwhelmed but still did a great job.

By far best oyster bar in town. We went there sat at the bar. Service was extremely fast for a weekend and staff was very friendly. We got the raw oysters. They are shipped 2 times a week from Galveston. All seafood is fresh. Crawfish were great too. Fried shrimp basket was great too. We enjoyed this and will be coming back.

Best fried shrimp in Austin. Oysters Ranchero were incredible broiled with Pico De Gallo and provolone cheese! Love the fried crab fingers too. Thanks for the great service Manny.

Oysters and stuffed crab was very good. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. She did an excellent job.

Awesome hidden gem! Great service, oysters, and beer what more could you want? Sat at the bar to watch some college football and eat, blown away by how great the service was. Put our pitcher in a bucket of ice, quick service, and they shuck the oysters in front of you. Definitely coming back!

The blackened catfish was quite tasty, not as "blackened" as I'm used to, but not oversalted and with a distinct black pepper edge. Wanted chowder but they specialize in gumbo and it was good; loaded with shrimp and bits of fish.

When you are having a bad day come one down the the Pacific Star Oyster bar. The staff is awesome and the food is delicious. Pitchers of beer made all the better. Our waitress Lulu was super patient and helpful. Ask her opinion and you will not be disappointed.

We had a little trouble finding this place after dark (it's behind the Dairy Queen), but upon entering we were treated to wonderful food in a cozy atmosphere. Our server was great, and the other patrons were friendly. The food is reasonably priced, and was delicious! I had the rainbow trout special and my wife had the shrimp po-boy. Would definitely recommend to others.

Have I seriously not rated this place yet? This is by far my favorite place to have crawfish! Most of the food here is fried so I can take it or leave it, but January - May I'm here or the 183 one as often as I can be. The rest of the year I crave it every time I drive by. They have a very special way of preparing mud bugs and it is perfect every time. It's like a garlicky wing sauce. I grew up on Cajun wings but these are so much better. The service is always great and the beers are always cold and cheap!

Had the pirogue, shrimp & oyster cocktail, and just a dinner salad. Let me tell you that pirogue was something else. Stuffed with crawfish, peppers, onions, and covered with melted cheese - this is the perfect dish to indulge in. Shrimp and oyster cocktail was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back!

1st time here, amazing service with friendly, quick staff! Food was great and quickly served! Must try the amazing crawfish flavor. It's a bit spicy but perfect! Thank you and we will be back! Ps try the Dos XX it's super fresh as well.

This place is freaking awesome. If you love seasonal seafood and local catch You must stop by and eat until you pop. Oyster on the half shell taste like they just came out of the gulf. The Crawfish boil is to die for. Jumbo shrimp killer. Serve beer and wine bottle and draft!!!
