Olson Meadows Park

After months of absence because of the road construction, I figured today's overcast condition was a great day to visit and go for a short jog/walk. The trail's condition is excellent with no litter of any kind. The clouds covered the sun most of the way and the constant breeze made the whole exercise very enjoyable.

Nice park, with a big field for any kind of sport. A small playground for kid, a good trail as well

This is another nice park and trail that you can enjoy. It's an easy walk which is good for family and kids with playground and ponds.

Nice park to walk around, there is a water fountain, childrens play area and a play ground to enjoy 😍

Beautiful park. Restrooms are closed due to Feb. 2021 freeze, but there are restrooms at the neighboring pool. Lots of people walking, running, and riding bikes. Nice playscape for the kids. A game of kickball was happening at one of the backstops.

This is great park love the trail through and the playground D my daughter loves as well. I still go there though cause the views r awesome and you can hit as much trails or playgrounds as you need in either direction.

Brand new makeover with new playground equipment and a lot of it.
New wood chips, also.
Kids loved it and gave them new challenges to conquer.

Beautiful park and great trail. If you are considering cycling here, get a bell or practice using your SHOUTING voice to announce your passing. Perhaps because of the nearby road, or wind or birdsong, pedestrians cannot hear your bike or your slightly elevated voice until you are passing, which isn’t enough warning. I’ve been on both sides of this argument, and I’ve finally noticed a lot of cyclists in this area don’t use the shouting voice until they’re angry that you didn’t move out of the way in the direction they wanted.

Pedestrians, listen carefully. Cyclists, be louder.

Fantastic area for picnics, photo shoots, pick-up football games, trail running, hiking, and biking!

Very nice park with play areas and long walking/cycling trails. Ponds and fountains add tranquility to the scene. Great to see the kids loved jumping from rock to rock along the trail more than the playground.

This is my neighborhood park and we just love it. The mature pecan trees gives it lots of shade in the summer. Besides a great place for kids the open space makes it a great place to organize a team sport. Backstops for softball and T-ball are available, as well as, open space for soccer and volleyball. Playground equipment can get a bit hot in middle of summer June-August, since there is no cover at this writing. Bring the kids, a blanket, some lunch for the grills and make a nice afternoon of this beautiful park. P.S. - It's on the Brushy Creek Regional Trail so bikes would be a great addition to the day. Really lovely and well-kept green spaces! Easy to navigate trails, with both paved, unpaved, and technical paths for biking and hiking. Frequent water features, including public fountains. Great place for all comers to the outdoors! (And there are Pokéstops!)

Beautiful park. Always beautifully maintained. Everyone is very friendly. People pick up after themselves and pups.
Only thing is there is a lot of new cyclists from the neighborhood that don't use proper trail etiquette.

Wide areas to ride or walk. Has some areas to stop and enjoy nature, take pictures. Great playground and the dam area has a wonderful view. There are bridges and places to hike down near the water and fish. Go past the dam and over the bridge to rent a kayak to paddle around the lake. All these parks along Hairy Man/Parmer connect and it's a beautiful place to park anywhere along this area and take a walk.

Nice big park with lots of places for the kiddos to run and play.

Shady, has big and small kid playscapes and pavilion for rent along with restrooms that are available to residents with a key. There's a short trail leading through a creek with crawfish and a fountain lake. Very scenic and doable with kids who can walk.

Nice park tucked towards the end of the Brushy Creek Regional Trail. Huge grounds for kids and dogs to run around, nice playscape and the grounds are always well maintained.
